I changed Internet providers and technology from DSL to cable and needed a different modem. I was going to purchase the least expensive modem I could find. My brother purchased this model cable modem and it delivered what I thought exceptional speed. No setup was needed on my part after the technician registered the modem with the provider.

Easy set up with my ISP provider. An upgrade over an older Arris Cable Modem which was a fatality during Hurricane Harvey aftermath. Overkill for the best available ISP service in my area but hopefully they will eventually catch up as they continue to upgrade service. Has performed flawlessly which is more than I can say for my ISP.

So far no lagging and get awesome connectivity with modem i love it.

This device is compact so won't take up your desk space. It delivers good download/upload speed for the price.

I finally decided to quit paying Comcast for the POS gateway they use. Best speed I ever measured was 70 Mbps and I needed an extender to cover the whole house with wifi. This modem paired with a Netgear AC2300 router and I get 247 Mbps with both Ethernet and wifi connected devices

This was a great alternative to use instead of renting one from Comcast. This was relatively inexpensive and very simple to use. Just remember this is only a modem and NOT a combined modem/router like most internet/cable providers use these days. So, if you want the flexibility to pick your own wired/wireless router, this is a great option.

Purchased the ARRIS - SURFboard 32 x 8 DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem to avoid paying the rental fees. This modem was recommended by the installer and is Comcast Xfinity compatible. I've had no issues with this modem and download speeds are great. This modem does not have a built in router and is not voice compatible.

Is easy install, and good work, the connection is easy is come whit cable ethernet

This solved my work from home connection issues as my previous modem was so spotty and often need to re-start my modem at least 2 times a day. After Buying this Modem the connection was solid and restarting my modem headache is past history.

Our old cable modem was beginning to give up problems so we decided to update. Checked with Comcast to see what modems would work. Found this Arris model and haven't had a problem since. Would definitely recommend.

At 400mbs plus, its the best stand alone modem. Chuck the Spectrum modem/combo and buy your own. This is the best way to maximize your internet service. Then pair it with a wifi 6 router to really get your subscription worth.

I bought an earlier version of this cable modem in 2017. One day in 2020, it just died... no lights, just dead. I had to buy a new cable modem in a hurry and for that reason I was limited to what I could find in-stock in a store. I bought this one again because it was in-stock, it's fast and worked well until it didn't. How long can I expect a cable modem to last? 3 years seems OK, but not great.
