We were looking for better speeds and we got it with this modem! It’s way better than what we got from our service provider and it saves us the expense of renting one as well! Highly recommend this modem! We have a son using Xbox live, 4 cell phones, 3 iPads and tv streaming, and this modem is perfect...no lagging!

Easy to set up and it works great right out of the box.

With Xfinity increasing the speed and bandwidth of its Internet/WiFi services, I had to upgrade to a different modem. This Arris Surfboard fits my needs perfectly and was easy to install. The staff person who helped was knowledgeable in what I needed, taking all the guesswork out of my purchase.

I was having horrible issues with my internet speed and wifi connections in my house. My internet provider could never seem to fix my problem. Finally, I purchased my own modem and router and my problems are fixed. My speed has tripled with this new modem. Highly recommend this to anyone wanting great internet speed.

Blazing fast modem. Seamless, easy install w/Comcast

This modem was purchased to replace an all in one modem/router. I was having issues with pages loading slowly and security breaches. So I decided to not buy another all in one and split up my modem & router, ans the results have been extraordinary! No more slow loading pages and I feel very secure now!! Love this product!

The price was very good for all that you get out of it. We upgraded our internet speed with Xfinity and needed to get a new modem. The Best Buy sales associate was great and suggested this one. Works great, very easy to set up, couldn't be happier!

I've had a previous ARRIS model and just like before am pleased with the stability of the product. No problems. Never needed a warranty on the other one and in fact, only reason I'm not using the other one is I sold it after disconnecting service with Comcast. Porduct kept its value too.

this modem is really fast. it works well with wow internet straight out of the box. it get me me full 500mb speed easily and should last a while since it is able to pull in well over 1gb internet speed. when paired with my linksy router it keeps the internet speed and doesn't drop at all

Does what I need it to, and saves me money. After a whole year of renting your own modem, you'll have spent more than you paid on this.

I decided to buy my own equipment instead of renting the cable company's garbage. Man I couldn't be happier. Super fast and stable modem. I'm getting 63megs down over a wireless connection on a basic cable internet package. Kudos to the Best Buy associate who helped me pick out my new equipment. He was very helpful.

Unbelievable performance, easy setup and simple to use.

No trouble so far. I got this modem to kind of future-proof myself for the foreseeable future. It has no trouble keeping up with my ISP's paltry 200Mb down / 10Mb up plan. Perhaps it would struggle if there was more competition to offer faster data speeds where I live, but as it is, this modem serves its purpose.

Bought this to replace SB6141. Had connection problems where I had to reboot my modem daily. Internet was working only few hours after rebooting then timed out. Called Comcast multiple times but problems continued. With this upgraded modem connection problem is fixed and get better download speed.

I had no idea what I needed, I only knew I wanted better than what the cable company rents. After explaining what I wanted to the Best Buy tech he recommended this modem. I don't know the specs, all I know is we are now happy with our internet speed so it's doing its job. I haven't regretted the purchase.
