This is such a good modem for my purposes. Not renting from internet service company is a good savings over just a few short months. This was easy to install and even the Comcast help was without issue. I recommend this highly.

Got this to replace my older Arris Surfboard because Comcast updated their system and my old Arris was no longer supported. After setup and installed, did a speed test and it boosted connection to more than double the speed. On phone with Comcast to setup modem for more than 1 hour but final result was worth it.

I love the technology therefore i like to have gastest products in my house. I want to recommend this modem becauseir is extremely fast but remember to purchase and excellent router this will be expensive but you will need it to sit down and the high speed data transfer will surprise you. A++ it is my review

LOve my cable modem. This thing is so stable and reliable....not one hiccup since Sept 2017. Download speeds of up to 1.4G. (of course, that's limited by your plan and your provider). This unit has space to grow as technology moves forward. I won't have to make any purchases to keep p.

Modem is an upgrade over the SB6183. Super fast speeds based on more up/down channels. While Cox is not able to take full advantage of the 32 down channels, you do get to take advantage of 24 vs. 16 on the SB6183. Translation = faster speeds. This device is future proof when the cable providers catch up to GB connections.

Only complaint I have about this thing is there are no mounting holes to put it on a wall or something. It surprisingly annoys me that they don't put these on the back or side somewhere. Other than that, works great and as advertised. Arris makes great stuff.

If you find out that you are not obtaining modem speeds or many devices are bogging it down then your problem could be the modem, not just the router. This router can handle 32 devices for downloading and 8 for uploading. Uploading would be kids playing online video games to clear that up.

This is te best choice I found to go with my 300 mb internet plan because as I also have the NETGEAR - Nighthawk AC1900 Dual-Band Wi-Fi Router I wanted to have the top products for my service, this modem works splendid, it goes a little warm sometimes but it is normal and if I need to reboot it it does it very fast

This replaced my old cable model Cisco DPC3008 (5-6 yrs old) so really easy to setup just plug in, hook up cable and called Comcast. Comcast had it on their network in about 45 minutes. Just the modem my download speed went from 13 Mbps to 47 Mbps. Replacing the router next.

Works perfectly. This is the third one I’ve bought for 3 different homes, I even went in and bought one for a friend lol! Easy to setup, doesn’t include WiFi, but if you’re using a router that’s better so that the two aren’t interfering with one another. Great product.

I have one at my home to replace an old 6120. I also bought one for my office as well. It is a fantastic modem, and I get speeds above what I pay for, often 20% more. So, at the office, 75mps is what I pay for, but I get 90. Similar at home. Great stuff. It is pricey, but will pay for itself over the life of the product.

We purchased this modem to replace a 10 year old Motorola modem. It works great and is very fast for our internet needs. We have middle range internet service and this is more than adequate with plenty of processing speed left over.

Recently moved into a new home and needed to upgrade my system to handle higher speeds. Looked at various modems to use with my new xfinity account. After determining the requirements and talking with the Best Buy associate, settled on the Arris SURFboard DOCSIS 3.0. Easy install. Have not any issues.

This is my second Modem with Arris. The first one died after the motherboard overloaded after 3 years of use. Arris is a good option at the price for Xfinity Internet. My expectation is that this one will also die after the 3 year mark so I don't recommend buying the warranty at 35% the cost of the product when it will die after the warranty expires.

We have tried different cable modems, even the one you get directly from Suddenlink. Nothing has worked right in our house for over 10 years. So far, this Arris cable modem has been great. We used to lose our connection all the time, and it hasn't happened yet with this product.

Was having issues with an ISP-provided modem/router. Dropped from Zoom classes, issues with upload/download speeds, and problems with multiple kids in classes. Switched to the Arris Surfboard 32x8 and haven't had any issues. Great value also!

I had an earlier model of this modem, also from Best Buy, in my former residence and left it with my ex. Appreciated it -- and, as always, Best Buy -- then and this one is working very well in my new home. I always choose Best Buy whenever possible, for selection, price and the Geek Squad.

Great item to own. Dont have to worry about shotty ISP owned equipment.

Replaced my old modem with this and am pretty happy with the speed. I have never had to reset modem.
