This replaced my old cable model Cisco DPC3008 (5-6 yrs old) so really easy to setup just plug in, hook up cable and called Comcast. Comcast had it on their network in about 45 minutes. Just the modem my download speed went from 13 Mbps to 47 Mbps. Replacing the router next.

Works perfectly. This is the third one I’ve bought for 3 different homes, I even went in and bought one for a friend lol! Easy to setup, doesn’t include WiFi, but if you’re using a router that’s better so that the two aren’t interfering with one another. Great product.

If you find out that you are not obtaining modem speeds or many devices are bogging it down then your problem could be the modem, not just the router. This router can handle 32 devices for downloading and 8 for uploading. Uploading would be kids playing online video games to clear that up.

Modem is an upgrade over the SB6183. Super fast speeds based on more up/down channels. While Cox is not able to take full advantage of the 32 down channels, you do get to take advantage of 24 vs. 16 on the SB6183. Translation = faster speeds. This device is future proof when the cable providers catch up to GB connections.

I have recommended, and bought this cable modem for friends, and family and also clients for starting off. Not everyone needs gig download speed having a DOCSIS 3.0 works just fine for streaming and internet.

Gotta say, really impressed for how good of a modem this is given it's pretty small! Can also safely say this works for Xfinity Internet. I just moved into my own apartment and decided I didn't want to rent a unit and this works great!

This is te best choice I found to go with my 300 mb internet plan because as I also have the NETGEAR - Nighthawk AC1900 Dual-Band Wi-Fi Router I wanted to have the top products for my service, this modem works splendid, it goes a little warm sometimes but it is normal and if I need to reboot it it does it very fast

We have tried different cable modems, even the one you get directly from Suddenlink. Nothing has worked right in our house for over 10 years. So far, this Arris cable modem has been great. We used to lose our connection all the time, and it hasn't happened yet with this product.

Great cable modem. I purchased this item to replace the cheap product that I'm renting from the cable company (Spectrum). I've been working from home and have a number of items connected to the wifi network. Nice affordable option.

Recently moved into a new home and needed to upgrade my system to handle higher speeds. Looked at various modems to use with my new xfinity account. After determining the requirements and talking with the Best Buy associate, settled on the Arris SURFboard DOCSIS 3.0. Easy install. Have not any issues.

I had an earlier model of this modem, also from Best Buy, in my former residence and left it with my ex. Appreciated it -- and, as always, Best Buy -- then and this one is working very well in my new home. I always choose Best Buy whenever possible, for selection, price and the Geek Squad.

This modem has is a game changer for us. This combined with the cable line we have achieve over 120 mmps. We have three people in our house all using online tools. No problems at all, highly recommend this to anyone when needs a little boost,

I have one at my home to replace an old 6120. I also bought one for my office as well. It is a fantastic modem, and I get speeds above what I pay for, often 20% more. So, at the office, 75mps is what I pay for, but I get 90. Similar at home. Great stuff. It is pricey, but will pay for itself over the life of the product.

Has been meeting expectations with speeds exceeding my plan, and maintaining a solid connection without any drops due to the modem. Rock solid performance for 8 months and would highly recommend to anybody with 1GBS or less service speeds.

we wanted an inexpensive router and didn't want to use the one from our ISP so we did some research and found this one. super easy setup and it seems like it functions really well. we paired it with a pretty nice netgear router and our wi-fi is fast and doesn't get interruptions, would strong recommend

Got this modem to replace an older model that wasn't capable of dealing with the higher speeds I needed and this was perfect. It handles the broadband speed I am getting (400mbps+) easily with plenty of room for further upgrade in the future if I require it.

Replaced my old modem with this and am pretty happy with the speed. I have never had to reset modem.

I have been renting equipment from my internet cable provider for years. Decided to purchase my own and save a few bucks. Combined this modem with a nest router. Very happy with performance of both items.
