We have an average of 8 devices pulling from this modem at any given time. Sometimes, 10! This modem sets up easy, and most importantly, is accepted and preferred by Xfinity when you are a do it yourself for set up. When you have an issue, Xfinity/Comcast can talk you through any issues that you may be having.

I had upped my comcast account to a higher speed, but was not benefiting from what should have been faster download speeds. So I bought this modem and immediately saw the difference. Now I am getting 100+ megabytes download speed consistently through both my hard-line connection and my wifi connection.

It successfully connects me to Comcast to provide internet service to my house. It does it's job.

Nothing at all wrong with this Modem. I just did not need it for the system I was setting up with my entertainment center. It could have conflicted with the Mediacom Modem so chose to not use it. The product itself is outstanding and have used same in the past.

Recently discovered that my ISP-provided modem was incapable of delivering the speed that I was paying for. Since replacing it with the Arris Surfboard, I've noticed a HUGE difference. Movies, games, music and software development work. Everything has drastically improved.

I was in a hurry to get service at my apartment and purchased this modem for Cox Communication preferred internet package.Setup was simple and was able to connect to cox in minutes. This modem works great with 4K content. No reason to over spend on the upper tier modem.

I would recommend this item. It's great for the speed it has and was easy to hook up.

Returned the ISP modem and bought this one as recommended by store associate. saved 10 bucks per month on the modem rental fee and has much better performance. handles all streaming needs. Only draw back is the blue lights facing forward are brighter than they need to be

I recently cut the cord and went with Streaming TV. I didn't want to pay $8 a month to rent the cable companies Modem so I bought this Arris. I choose Arris because it was the same manufacturer as those provided by the cable company. I also received several recommendations from friends.

Replaced Comcast gateway with SB6190 and TP-Link AX1500. Set-up was easy after providing Comcast the MAC address. Comcast tech was suprisingly helpful. Connected the router to the SB6190 with an ethernet cable and was able to connect all clients in minutes. Most devices are able to perform at speeds close to what I pay for from ISP (100mbs).

I installed the product and it was easy to setup and had improved performance significantly

Does exactly what it's supposed to do. Better than any Xfinity box. We are setting up employees for work at home with phones and with Xfinity boxes they have nothing but issues, put this in and a good router and have no more issues.

I have had this Arris modem for 6 months with absolutely no issues. The SURFboard SB6190 is a DOCSIS 3.0 modem and is capable of download speeds up to 1.4 Gbps and 131 Mbps upload. I have RCN as my internet provider which it works perfectly with. I recommend and I would buy this again.

I needed to buy a new modem to get the most out of my service. After researxhing them I found that this umit was the best value of the ones available. It was not the most expensive nor was it the least expensive.

Had been renting a modem for years that took up a lot of space. When I purchased the Arris, I was a bit skeptical that it could handle all of my gadgetry...but am exceptionally happy with the fact that it's been running several months and everything fires up quickly and easily.

The modem works great. It has helped with our internet speed.

In an effort to pay Xfinity/Comcast as little as possible, I decided to purchase my own Modem. I already had a wireless router to use and did not want to pay $156 a year to use a modem from the ISP. At less than $100 the ARRIS-SURFboard 32 x 8 DOCSIS 3,0 Cable Modem does a good job

My Cisco was having disconnect issues after several years of service. This Arris-Surfboard solved the problem about connection. It's important to note that adjustments have to be made to any other wireless connection, such as the printer, My Cloud, etc. I used the services of the Geek Squad for that.

This modem is exactly as advertised. Does its functions very well. Couldn’t have been happier with this purchase.
