Excellent modem and works great on Spectrum. If you have 200+ Mb connection, get this modem. Also, even though the website says you can activate the modem, call Spectrum and give them the SN# to set it up. Once that's done, wait for the modem to get "connected" then reboot your router.

The Arris - SURFboard Docsis 3.0 High-Speed Broadband Cable Modem is an excellent modem. We bought it so we wouldn't have to lease one from our ISP and pay a monthly rental fee. It works great with our ISP's network. We connected it to a Netgear Nighthawk router for a great wi-fi signal throughout our whole house.

No issues with the modem so far. Just an FYI, when it is done with setup the lights are supposed to be green but they appear blue. I called customer service and it is just an illusion. If you look through the air vents on the side they are actually green. So don't panic like I did. It's all good.

The lights are super bright, especially at night. So that can be a turn off. But it basically doubles as a night light! Haha. I'm only into about a month or so in owning this and it hasn't crapped on me or needed a restart. Both down and up speeds are consistent with what I would get before too. Happy so far.

Nothing at all wrong with this Modem. I just did not need it for the system I was setting up with my entertainment center. It could have conflicted with the Mediacom Modem so chose to not use it. The product itself is outstanding and have used same in the past.

I purchased this modem to go along with a new router that I also purchased. I need to have high bandwidth throughput and so far this has delivered on all fronts. I have Spectrums 300 MB download and this delivers with no issues. Ethernet connected I usually get about 350 download and 28 upload.

Finally cut the cord from cable and now only stream my tv shows and movies. This is the best modem I have used and once I separated router and modem my internet speed doubled!! Seems that the all in one modem-router given to me by the cable company only slowed my internet speed down. Go figure?!??!!!

Replaced Comcast gateway with SB6190 and TP-Link AX1500. Set-up was easy after providing Comcast the MAC address. Comcast tech was suprisingly helpful. Connected the router to the SB6190 with an ethernet cable and was able to connect all clients in minutes. Most devices are able to perform at speeds close to what I pay for from ISP (100mbs).

I needed to buy a new modem to get the most out of my service. After researxhing them I found that this umit was the best value of the ones available. It was not the most expensive nor was it the least expensive.

I had upped my comcast account to a higher speed, but was not benefiting from what should have been faster download speeds. So I bought this modem and immediately saw the difference. Now I am getting 100+ megabytes download speed consistently through both my hard-line connection and my wifi connection.

We have an average of 8 devices pulling from this modem at any given time. Sometimes, 10! This modem sets up easy, and most importantly, is accepted and preferred by Xfinity when you are a do it yourself for set up. When you have an issue, Xfinity/Comcast can talk you through any issues that you may be having.

The ARRIS Cable Modem works fine. It was easy to setup from my end. However, Cox had some slight troubles registering it (mostly Cox's problems). It has a high bandwidth throughput and works great for all the devices I have on my network plus is fine for streaming.

Does exactly what it's supposed to do. Better than any Xfinity box. We are setting up employees for work at home with phones and with Xfinity boxes they have nothing but issues, put this in and a good router and have no more issues.

It successfully connects me to Comcast to provide internet service to my house. It does it's job.

Recently discovered that my ISP-provided modem was incapable of delivering the speed that I was paying for. Since replacing it with the Arris Surfboard, I've noticed a HUGE difference. Movies, games, music and software development work. Everything has drastically improved.

I was in a hurry to get service at my apartment and purchased this modem for Cox Communication preferred internet package.Setup was simple and was able to connect to cox in minutes. This modem works great with 4K content. No reason to over spend on the upper tier modem.

Returned the ISP modem and bought this one as recommended by store associate. saved 10 bucks per month on the modem rental fee and has much better performance. handles all streaming needs. Only draw back is the blue lights facing forward are brighter than they need to be
