I was changing my Wi-Fi system to use the Linksys Velop mesh Wi-Fi system and the BestBuy associate recommended this modem. It works great and was easy to set-up. I did have to contact my internet provider to get the modem to work on their cable system, but that only took 5 minutes.

I use this cable modem with my Time Warner Cable's Internet access. It makes no sense to "rent" a cable modem when you can buy one. This modem supports 300Mbps on Time Warners networks. That's a Time Warner limitation, the modem will support speeds up to 1.4Ghz, so it's future proof for a few years.

I bought this to replace a comcast rented modem. This was easy to use and install. The issues we had were related to comcast. they didn't properly provision the phone service or the internet and repeated calls were necessary. but given the savings on renting, it is worth the effort. I do wish this had more ethernet ports but i can always pick up a cheap hub if I need more than one.

Good speed, and easy to set up. I had no trouble with Comcast switching out my rental modem/router for this one. I combined it with an eero 3 pod mesh router. No issues at all, but a second Ethernet port would have been helpful.

I got this modem to replace the free one provided by Spectrum to use at my parents. They were having a lot of connection issues so I replaced to this modem and they haven't had problems since. It appears to perform very well compared to the one that was provided.

I was paying $10 per month for a cable modem. I wanted an easy and reliable replacement. After reading what the cable company needed, and reading customer ratings and product reviews, this was a no-brainer. It installed in just minutes. One call to the cable company and I was in business. Awesome.

Appearance lacks but the performance is good. Easy as can be to set up. Just plug in and go.

Not only is this router a great bang for your buck, it also is very stable and runs cool [if you don't block it]. Once Comcast was contacted, it's been up and running with NO problems...I haven't rebooted it since I installed it more than a month ago. You cannot go wrong with this router.

I did a lot of research before buying the Arris Surfboard and it has been excellent so far. It can handle Internet speeds much higher than what we currently have so we have the option of upgrading our service in the future. Definitely beats renting a modem from the Internet service provider!

We were at best buy to look at options for cutting cable and the sales guy said he would save us more money with this because we wouldn't have to rent it from xfinity. It works well and was somewhat easy to set up

Perfect replacement for my cable modem that used to cost me $10.00 per month...can't believe I didn't do this sooner. Very stable signal and works perfectly with my Linksys mesh router. Excellent modem for the price.

The ARRIS replaced my cable modem that failed intermittingly and required rebooting constantly. Later, I changed my router and mesh extended. Now my home network for internet access is working perfectly.

Worked for my needs. Faster than my prevous modem. Cheeper then renting.

I bought this modem to replace my Comcast/Xfinity modem. It actually works better, and holds a signal better than the one provided by Comcast. In addition, it's much more compact, although the Comcast version does try to be a wired/wireless router as well. For the price, I am satisfied with value.

It turns out my internet had been upgraded over the years, but my modem had lagged behind. Got this and got an immediate 25% speed increase. There are some more powerful ones, but this is plenty of power for most people.

No problem setting it up, connected right away. Easy set up.

I recently upgraded my service plan and got higher speeds that my old modem could not handle. Works great. First one I purchased was defective and would not connect to comcast but swapped out with BB customer service and the replacement connected immediately.

I got this modem to replace an older Motorola surfboard so I could upgrade to gigabit service. I also replaced an old router and have not been disappointed. It was a easy setup, just had to call my cable provider and give the mac address and was online in minutes.

The 32 X 8 was such an upgrade that I don't know how I got along without it. Much faster. Anxious to upgrade the router to see whether that will further speed things up. The discount for bringing the old one in instead of cluttering the landfill with it was also a plus.
