Bought this to update my old surfboard which was only DOCSIS 2.0, if you are still using a DOCSIS 2.0 modem with your current internet provider you may not be getting the most speed available as companies are phasing out 2.0 modems. Upgraded to this and immediately noticed better speeds with Xfinity.

I bought this modem after Cox repair guy left me with no service after trying to figure out why I was having problems with my connection. I decided to troubleshoot myself haven't had any problems sense making this purchase. Had no problems installing or activating this modem with Cox.

Even though with Gigabit is still a while away it is well worth it to buy this. It's $100 for a 16x4 and I got 35-45 Mbps with it but for an additional $50 you future proof yourself while experienced get super fast internet that pushed me into the 60s and as high as 73mbps. I may not even need gigabit

I bought this device to replace my Arris 6121, as Comcast said my old modem would no longer be supported. So far, I haven't seen any issues with it, nor did I have any issues with my old Arris device.. Installation and setup was simple and I was back online in about 15 minutes.

This is so much faster than the Comc—- router that the company offered. One time fee instead of a monthly payment. Saved me a lot of money over the years. It will be obsolete before it wears out.

I thought I was having issues with another cable modem I owned, so I picked up this SURFboard SB6190. It is fast and ended up being an upgrade to the Zoom 5341J I replaced. Turns out my issue was with my own router, so the upgrade wasn't necessary. I'm ok with it, though. Great product!

I've had the modem for about a month and it's working fine.

I previously was using an Arris SB6141. When I complained to my cable company that I wasn't getting the speed I expected, they said it's the router I'm using. I upgraded to the SB6190 and sure enough I got more speed.

This modem works well and doesnt require any sefup really just plug it in. I bought one 3 years ago too for my mom and it is still working well.

Getting ready to upgrade to the 3.1, but this has been a great modem. We will be giving my mom this modem and our Linksys router so that she can switch internet provider and not have a monthly rental fee from equipment.

This modem has known firmware issues with latency and packet loss. My ISP (W.O.W) has released a new firmware version that has mostly resolved the issues, at least for my uses. I get a consistent 550mbps down and 50mbps up and it's been stable for over a month without needing to be restarted. An affordable solution for those seeking 500+Mbps speeds until Docsis 3.1 hardware is available to consumers.

It has been a pleasure to watch an movie without losing connection. The cable company was trying to get me to upgrade my internet but I purchased this instead and it fixed the issues I was having. Works great!!!
