I bought this modem because my ISP modem was no longer compatible with their new system. Setup was easy. I plugged it in power cable, hooked up the coax cable, and called the ISP to give them the MAC address. Once all that was done I was up and running within 5-10 min.

After 3 1/2 years my old Surfboard (they were labeled from Motorola then, now it's called Arris). I bought this to replace it. While I was at it, I replaced the switch and bought some Cat 6 cables as well. WOW! I'm speedtesting downloads almost 30% faster! (I'm on Cox).

It's a cable modem and seems to be quote fast, a lot faster than the old Comcast one I was using. However, if you put this anywhere that light is going to be an issue (like a bedroom) be aware that the LED lights on it are ABSURDLY bright. I have to throw a shirt over it every night and while the shirt is briefly nice and warm when I put it on, it's not optimal.

Bought this as an upgrade from renting from Comcast. This along with Google Nest Wifi has made our connection faster and more reliable with everyone spending more time working from home and attending school.

Worked perfectly after sharing ID with cable company. Increased speed from 50Mbps to 200Mbps because old model couldn't bond as many channels as cable company was providing.

Because I'm a Geek Squad member, I got this on a great sale (more than half off) just before Christmas. Solid product. Works as stated.

This one is not compatible with Altice or optimum. The cheaper one works. Call your cable company to see if it is compatible. I saved $10 a month on cable bill. Easy to set up. Just call your cable company and they will guide you

This modem is fantastic! I subscribe to my service for up to 25mbps. Since installing I have had nothing less than 40mbps and have maxed out around 70mbps! For those looking to upgrade, remember this, it's always better to purchase your modem and router separately.

Our cable modem was very old and were looking to update our internet speed. Needed a new modem and this one fit the bill. Works flawlessly.

all modems are the same right? ...WRONG. New innovative ways of delivering packets through a wire are why internet speeds get faster. I was getting 75mps on my old Netgear. I am getting 180mps with this. Only chose this brand because it was on sale.

This is the fastest modem readily available. Be aware that not all current cable systems are utilizing all the bonded channels currently, but will likely implement soon to get gigabit speeds over the current cable network. This is the best future-proof modem available right now.

I have a 400mg down connection and around 25 wireless devices connected to my google mesh network and a network switch with multiple wired connections. This modem made my internet more efficient and actually fixed an issue that my ISP wouldn't even fix.

Cable service provider updates necessitated the purchase of a new modem. Best Buy staff assited with locating the unit we needed to get up to date and enable the full potential if what we pay for. It's a night and day difference from what we had. Definitely satisfied.

My old Asus modem seemed to have an issue with the ethernet port. This modem solved my problem, and I get over the rated speed regularly. I have had no issues.

We bought this modem because of Spectrum/ Time Warner wouldn't acknowledge our other modem for 100 mbsp...so we got this one to make sure we had no issues. Spectrum/ Time Warner do not make it easy for anyone who doesn't take their products. We beat them with this modem.
