Replaced an old Motorola and see a lot less latency and greater speed. Highly recommend.

I upgraded to this modem when my previous Arris quit. I considered upgrading even beyond this model but for a typical residential home set-up this will work well with today's technology for most customers for the next 3-5 years. The Best Buy associate confirmed my conclusion. I would recommend that you will be well served having your own conversation with an associate to be match your equipment and needs. I did have to work with Spectrum by phone as the internal code in the modem had to be reprogrammed as part of my installation process. My understanding is that the code in some of the modems may work without recoding so do try it before calling Spectrum.

Set-up was easy, and we get full speed that we are paying for. I don't think about my modem. It has not had any shut-downs or any issues. Just works in the background like it should.

Easy setup and directions are simple to follow. Only three things to hook up and you're good to go. You may have to activate the modem with the Mac ID but that is all that is required.

Use it with my Spectrum 400Mbps connection and they work wonderfully. Out of all of the cable modem's I've tried, the surfboards are by far the most performant and most reliable in my experience.

Got the job done. I have Xfinity internet. I had hard reset the modem because it was dropping the signal after install. No problems from there.

It works! This unit will easily pay for itself compared to renting a unit from the isp.

Ever since my cable internet provider started to charge to "rent" a modem, I found cheaper in the long run to buy your own. I got this model because it fulfilled my needs and some. I have 100Mbps through Spectrum and I'm getting this speed and some along side a nighthawk wireless router. Plus I bought it on Cyber Monday which sweetened the deal.

A little overpriced, but so worth it! Save money, owning your own modem rather than paying a monthly fee to an internet provider. It was easy to install and haven’t had any problems since installation. Love it!

Old modem stopped working, so bought this one. I have always used Arris modems in the past, and I like owning my own modem instead of renting one every month. I recommend this product.

Got tired of renting from our internet carrier and them always saying something is wrong with our box and sending another one. Plugged this one in and going it setup with our carrier. Been working great for us.

This modem is allowing me to save money, that I've been giving to xfinity, for several years. It has worked perfectly and installed very easily. Again, the associates at Best Buy, in Cumming, were very helpful and knowledgeable.

I needed a new cable modem, and the ARRIS-SURFboard did the trick!

I have charter internet and their modem was really bad. Constantly losing connection. This modem works fast and effective. It is definitely an upgrade. Would recommend to everyone.

I have been using this modem for awhile now and it has worked well. There was a small hiccup while setting it up, but that was due to my internet provider. As long as your connection is ready, you should have no issues with this modem.

Plugged it in and it works great. We have 4 people on phones and computers ,tv and dont have high speed internet and it does not buffer at so far.

Stop paying to rent your modem from ISP! This modem has a small form factor and is fast. The main thing to consider is the number of ports. This has 2 so if you need to hardwire additional devices you will want to upgrade.

Sure there's slightly higher updated capable modems out there, but this is all you need and Arris brand is a very compatible brand. Save money, buy now and own, don't rent from cable companies, they charge too much for service as does all utility companies do these days.

SO much better than the modem supplied by the cable company. If you are having any doubts about installing your own modem, don't. Its simple, fast and much more reliable than the ones supplied by the cable companies!!!
