This was easy to setup and I'm getting fast speeds throughout my 3,500 sq ft house. Only negative is it only has 1 output for the wireless router. I would have liked to run a hard wire PC connection off this as well.

Recently had an outage where my old SB6141 seemingly died in the aftermath. It did a decent job for five years, but my ISP could not reach it anymore. This has been a great and seamless replacement once set up.

It's great to purchase an item that does exactly what it is supposed to do with no surprises and no let-down. It was an easy install and it has let us forget about it since the minute we installed it.

I have always used Surfboard modems and with all the streaming I was doing in my house I needed something more robust to handle all the bandwidth available. With 32 down and 8 up channels this modem is lightening fast!!!!

I've had this for about a year and I haven't had any issues with it. It pretty much just works. There were maybe 2-3 times where it had trouble connecting, but I'm pretty sure it was just my ISP. I bought this after the Ethernet port on my Motorola one died. Even if I had to replace my modem every two years, it would still be way cheaper than renting from my ISP, or any ISP for that matter.

Set-up was easy, and we get full speed that we are paying for. I don't think about my modem. It has not had any shut-downs or any issues. Just works in the background like it should.

I was able to get rid of my Comcast modem and the $10/month fee and replace it with this. If you aren't using the Comcast modem as your wifi router or for phone, I suggest just getting this. Set-up was easy - just follow the directions.

I upgraded to this modem when my previous Arris quit. I considered upgrading even beyond this model but for a typical residential home set-up this will work well with today's technology for most customers for the next 3-5 years. The Best Buy associate confirmed my conclusion. I would recommend that you will be well served having your own conversation with an associate to be match your equipment and needs. I did have to work with Spectrum by phone as the internal code in the modem had to be reprogrammed as part of my installation process. My understanding is that the code in some of the modems may work without recoding so do try it before calling Spectrum.

Bought this Modem to replace my Motorola, it is fast, and has eliminated any data transmission errors that my previous modem had. Can stream multiple HD movies (netflix, hulu), while supporting online gaming, facebook, VOIP, for the whole family.

Easy setup and directions are simple to follow. Only three things to hook up and you're good to go. You may have to activate the modem with the Mac ID but that is all that is required.

After continuously searching for an overall compatible mode for my Optimum internet service, I finally found this device. Was told that it was less than 50% chance it would work. It works great!

Purchased it because I had a similar one about 4 hrs ago. The newer vision is much faster to stream with The set up was simple online was recognized that it was new software followed the instructions and was done in about all together 20 min.

One thing i like about this is that it is a stand up unit not a lay down needs less space on desk.

Old modem stopped working, so bought this one. I have always used Arris modems in the past, and I like owning my own modem instead of renting one every month. I recommend this product.

Best Buy associate talked to me about different models and told me this would be the best for my Home. He was right this product is working very well . I am so glad I talked to someone at Best Buy that knew about the different modems.

So, I'm not really a technology person, but this was pretty easy. I was just replacing my old modem and everything fit where it should. The only issue was that I wish either the store employee or instructions said that the cable company needs to activate it. Wasted quite a bit of time before I found that out. It is working great since that.

Use it with my Spectrum 400Mbps connection and they work wonderfully. Out of all of the cable modem's I've tried, the surfboards are by far the most performant and most reliable in my experience.
