My old modem was 5 years old and a little behind the times. Thought it went out but it was the cable company's problem not the modem. I kept this one anyway because it seems lag and buffering have gotten better with this modem.

Bought this modem because I am tired of renting..Anyway it works pretty well. I also wanted to improve my xbox live and it has improved but I am still having lag issues just not as often. Bought a nighthawk router at same time. Dont know if the prob is modem or router. Best Buy rep said thess together will fix my lag issue. Nope.

Have been using this for a while now, in different states and with different internet companies. Has worked great with everyone so far! Saved me a lot of money!

After paying $10 a month to my cable company for a modem rental, I decided to invest in my own. This one is the top rated modem of 2016 and after setting it up I see why. My internet speed is now being delivered at the promised rate.

This modem performs excellently! I have so many internet operated devices in my home I found it necessary to find a high performing modem. The Arris came highly recommended by my ADT tech and my home surveillance installer. Great product...

This is probably the best modem I’ve owned. LED lights aren’t obnoxious. Super small to fit onto desk without getting in the way. Totally worth investment.

This modem is plug and play. Reliable and fast as well.

Connected to Comcast cable internet system at their rated download speed of 100 MBPS. Tested through my desk top at speeds of 89 to 112 MBPS. After installing to my router - Comcast has to setup on their end. Works great !

Purchased this Arris model because it was DOCSIS 3.0 compliant and was reasonably priced. My older, non 3.0 Arris modem is the subject to a class action suit in California, for a know bug which causes frequent reboots. Docsis 3.0 removes this issue.

I explained my problem to the salesperson and they gave me several options until we narrowed it down to this. It works like I was told it would and does exactly what I was told it do.

I found out that unfortunately my terrible internet wasn't due to my cable modem. I have not yet fixed the internet, but the modem was greatly useful in figuring out that it wasnt my end of things that was the problem. I will try to leave a better review when I have had a chance to use it when my internet is fixed.

My old Arris Surboard seemed to be the problem with my connection to the internet occasionally dropping out. I replaced with a new Arris SB6190 because it was the best modem speeds for the price. It seems to have corrected the problem.

Great! Works well with Xfinity. I needed a new modem and I was going to get the more expensive one from netgear but this works well with my blast package with Xfinity.

This modem has worked great. We only have a 1300 sq ft home, but we also use our devices in the garage, outside on the back patio, and in our large backyard. We've had no problems with receiving fast internet connections. I watch/listen to movies/tv shows on Hulu, and music on YouTube, on my laptop outside in the yard, and haven't had any internet connection problems. For the price, it's a great deal.

Bought this modem in order to cut down on lost internet connection due to a cheap rental modem that slowed my ups down due to having a dual modem. Big difference. Plus I'm not paying gcb rental fees anymore.

My Cable carrier was charging me $10 a month for their modem. I finally got tired of it and bought this at Best Buy. Now I have $10 in my pocket each month and I think my service improved. I love this modem.

One thing i like about this is that it is a stand up unit not a lay down needs less space on desk.

I was getting tired of renting from the internet provider as the modem was awful, I was told to purchase a modem and return the rental and now my internet and download speeds are incredibly fast. It was well worth the money.
