This modem provides upload and download speeds that well exceed the my cable company's maximum speeds. It was simple to install. I just had to contact my ISP with the new MAC address for this modem.

Excellent Modem. Replaced an old modem with this one and it has been flawless since install. Works with my Comcast XFinity internet in the Chicago area. Highly recommend buying instead of renting. Cheaper in the long run.

My second SurfBoard...this replaced a SB6183, and only because I upgraded my IS to Extreme300. Very happy with both Boards I've owned. Much better than renting.

The cable modem works fine and will pay for itself before the end of the year as opposed to renting from the cable company. My only complaint is that the id # is too small to be read without a magnifying glass.

When looking at a cable modem make sure you get a 32 channel modem, so you won't buy one that becomes obsolete quickly. The Arris get high reviews for good reasons, it works well and provides high speed access.

I bought this modem to replace my current Motorola modem. This modem is super fast!! I went from 45 download speed from my old modem to 114 with this one. Amazing product! I paired it with the triple pack google wifi.

Needed to update existing modem very slow and causing router to need constant rebooting. Noticed an immediate change and increase in speed and consistent running. Employees recommendation was right on.

This is a replacement for my previous modem which wasn't compatible with Comcast. It was very easy to install. All it took is a call to Comcast to have them activate it and I was up and running.

This is my second SURFboard. Just like the first one it was very easy to get installed and setup with Comcast Internet and TV. The only down side is the power supply / plug connector. This power supply / plug connector has become common practice so I can only plug 4 items in a 6 outlet surge protector.

One thing i like about this is that it is a stand up unit not a lay down needs less space on desk.

Small, compact and works fine so far. Easy hookup.

Replaced an older cable modem that started to malfunction on an intermittent basis. This one works great. Hope it lasts longer than my old one.

Modem was easy to install and start using. 1. Open product 2. Remove old modem 3. Hook up power cord, coax cable, and Ethernet cable. 4. Call internet provider to activate new modem. 5. Log online.

This little modem performs superbly, with plenty of speed. It has ONE CABLE line input, and one ethernet output jack (RJ45) than goes to your computer. That's it. It's a computer cable modem, and does just that, very well!

I bought this so I didn't have to pay for the modem and wifi rental with Xfinity anymore. Set up was easy. Worth the purchase. Should've bought this 2 years ago!

Wasn’t hard to set up. Just had to call the internet company to program the modem.

It wasn’t exactly what I went for but the sales guy gave me this and said he was equal to what I was looking for and I have to say I’m not disappointed thanks Best Buy sales guy
