I got the ARRIS SURFboard Cable Modem to replace my Comcast modem that i was renting monthly and this modem has proven to be faster for downloads and uploads with the latest docsis 3.0 technology, and now i don't have to worry about paying that monthly rental for an inferior modem.

I had buffering issues due to having so many smart house devices. This thing solved them all. Movies and online videos are smooth, clear, and I have seen a improvement in all my devices!

I've had this modem running 24/7 for two years now and have had no issues at all. It has great speeds and I don't pay a monthly fee to the IP provider for their modem.

The modem supplied by Spectrum continually dropped signal and I was paying them!! The SB6190 has solved the signal issue and now have solid download speeds. Bonus it pays for itself not to rent!

I can't emphasize enough how many times over my home internet connection has been since I swapped out my Xfinity Router/Modem device they gave me for this one. Highly recommended!

Had to upgrade since our previous was no longer accepted by the internet company. Easy to set up, great size and sleek appearance.

Tried a different modem prior with less forward channel that failed to be compatible this model with diehard channels worked great. It is also ready for gigabit service when I’m ready

This modem is very dependable. Affordable price and pays for itself by saving rent fees from the internet provider.

I swapped out an Arris SB6183 that I have had since 2016 for this. I did notice it takes a LONG time to reboot. So be aware. But once it was activated with my cable provider I already notice a difference in the data speeds. After purchasing this I dug more into the comments on other websites, apparently there is a class action law suite against Arris for this modem. The issue is the Intel Puma chip used in the device has issues with sending or receiving data. I have YET to have this issue but if I do, I’ll update my review.

This is my 3rd motorola modem and they’ve lasted me for years!

I have the Arris 16x8 but needed to upgrade to help me get faster speeds. This definitely do the trick and I won't be upgrading for a while unless I get gigabyte service.

Tired of shelling $10 each month to comcast. Bought a better modem and it was on sale! Easy to hook up and is a great blue nightlight. Seems to do a better job since we are now streaming.

What's not to like about it. Works great with Comcast and replaces and aging router that was disconnecting all the time. This one's been rock solid since day one.

I purchased this for my parents, who had an outdated modem of a similar model. This is fast and it works great - exactly what she needed.

I took the advice of the sales associate and am so glad that I did. This was just what I needed when I moved into my new place and had new electronics connected. It works perfectly

Only concern is the price..... Certainly paying for the newest 3.1 technology. We upgraded our 4 year old Arris 6140 to get us set for the day when we upgrade to 1 GIG or higher speeds. Looks the same as the other Arris modem we had but the box it is packaged is much larger.

Not paying Time Warner another lease fee. This thing pays for itself in no time. Gives my Orbi reliable robust signal consistently. Haven't had to reboot since I bought it. Worth every penny!!

Time to upgrade my Hardware and this is the Best. Arris-SURFboard 32 x 8 DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem is the good fit for my internet needs.
