This modem does exactly what it's supposed to do - provide a very fast connection (used with Comcast service) and is very stable, meaning I rarely have to reboot it like my previous CM.

Setup was easy and able to use with one quick call to the cable company for an account. Better than paying a monthly fee thru the cable company and works well for streaming.

Love it thanks to the associate that had all the information and took time to explain how it was gonna make my life easier! Omg he was right!!!

What's not to like about it. Works great with Comcast and replaces and aging router that was disconnecting all the time. This one's been rock solid since day one.

By far the best modem I have used! I purchased because I had a giftcard, but quite honestly you probably won't see a huge performance lift between the SB6190 and the SB6142 (previous modem).

This was way better than the company issued you get from the cable company. Easy to set up and not to big so that its in the way.

My cable company recently increased my speeds from 100mbs to 150mbs. My old modem was only giving me 120 tops. As soon as I plugged this in i started getting 176mbs. I'm happy!!

Honestly I think the cable company just makes it an issue to set up since it's not their modem. It says it works with places like Comcast and it does, but Comcast and others will have "trouble connecting" and try to make you buy their product.

Works great. Someone stole my Mac ID on my other router so I HAD to buy a new one when I changed to Comcast.... unhappy they couldn't do anything since I had the unit physically in my hand.

I wanted to replace the modem I was renting. This one has proven to be far superior. You can tell at a glance if you are uploading and downloading at optimal speeds.

Plugged this in when I got home after purchasing. Called my ISP to activate it. And no longer paying $3-$5 per month to rent their modem. Slight increase to my internet speed as well.

This product was easy to set up itself. Only complication came with dealing with internet provider and replacing their equipment on the system with this new device.

We purchased this in order to replace the outdated modem we were renting from our internet provider. It has been much faster and very reliable since purchasing. Plus we no longer have to pay the rental fee on the old modem and we will recoup our cost on this one quickly!

Modem works flawlessly with Comcast Xfinity and is saving me 120$ bucks a year cause I no longer pay rental fees this thing pays for it's self if you plan on being a subscriber for 2+ years

No issues with this product once it was set up. Its a quality product.

This is a great router. I upgraded from a previous surfboard and this thing is amazing! It works well with Comcast and my AirPort Extreme.
