My cable company recently increased my speeds from 100mbs to 150mbs. My old modem was only giving me 120 tops. As soon as I plugged this in i started getting 176mbs. I'm happy!!

This Modem works great! It’s not super fancy but it gets the job I need done completed.

Plugged this in when I got home after purchasing. Called my ISP to activate it. And no longer paying $3-$5 per month to rent their modem. Slight increase to my internet speed as well.

By far the best modem I have used! I purchased because I had a giftcard, but quite honestly you probably won't see a huge performance lift between the SB6190 and the SB6142 (previous modem).

We purchased this in order to replace the outdated modem we were renting from our internet provider. It has been much faster and very reliable since purchasing. Plus we no longer have to pay the rental fee on the old modem and we will recoup our cost on this one quickly!

Works great. Someone stole my Mac ID on my other router so I HAD to buy a new one when I changed to Comcast.... unhappy they couldn't do anything since I had the unit physically in my hand.

Modem works flawlessly with Comcast Xfinity and is saving me 120$ bucks a year cause I no longer pay rental fees this thing pays for it's self if you plan on being a subscriber for 2+ years

This is a great router. I upgraded from a previous surfboard and this thing is amazing! It works well with Comcast and my AirPort Extreme.

I went into the store looking for a different modem but I'm glad the sales associate recommended me this one. For a few more dollars, I bought a high quality super fast modem.

Purchased this to replace my rented Comcast modem/wireless gateway.. It seems like I have faster speeds than I did with the Comcast equipment. And, it pays for itself in about 10 months!

fastest on the market today. Have Com Sux 75/10 getting 85/13. Just took CS 8 calls, 5 business days to figure out that they need to push an update. Best Buy had it in stock, and the best price too!

Save money by not renting one. This one will last a long time. It is fast and you can use your own router. Best to have separate modem and router.

Internet speeds and reliability seem good (only issues I have seem to be on the server end. Only issue I had was swapping coax cables. A brand new cable i bought (needed something longer) didn't work at all (didn't know that was possible) so I had to switch it out again

Does what it is supposed to do. Watching movies online is much better than before. No more delays. Not sure why I did not select this one on my first purchase. Downloading apps is super fast.

Did require my cable provider to add to my account but is a great modem that provides me with excellent speeds through my provider. Works with Spectrum communications.
