I have had this for over a year. I think it gets the job done. It’s important to also purchase a great router as this is only a modem- something to keep in mind!

This modem paired very well with my nighthawk router, and was simple to install even for someone like myself who is a mid range tech savvy individual. Love it.

Great modem to maximize speed. Even if you pay for the lower speeds from your cable provider this modem will ensure you constantly reach those speeds thanks to the 32 channels

It’s a champ! Set and forget and let it do all the work. Seems to handle everything that I need it for and the set up was simple... beats paying xfynity for their hardware.

Plugged in. Worked out of the box with xfinity. I connected a mesh WiFi system to it. Works well over the 6000 sf

This is a quality modem that does what it is meant to do. It is fast and it saves me a bundle since I don't have to rent a modem from my internet service provider. It was a pain to set up, but that is more the fault of my ISP than of the equipment.

If you are tired of paying Comcast $10 a month for their modems, go buy this one. My overall home network is now more stable and this modem increased my download speeds by 5mbps.

I had another modem that kept going out but have been very pleased with my new Arris. No issues since I have bought it.

My home wifi was trouble: constant problems staying connected. So I bought a nighthawk router, still problems. Replaced TW modem with this modem. Worked immediately and no trouble since!

So far speeds are as advertised -- about 250M downstream and 30-40 up using Xfinity. Taking off a star as it seems to freeze up on occasion and needs a reboot every other week... only one star off though as I have yet to have a cable modem that doesn't need that.

Was very easy to setup, however, did require the cable company to "allow" it as it was a different model number than the unit it replaced.

Good modem but not compatible with Comcast Triple play bundle and had to return same. Shame as really liked the performance of this modem

Replaced my 6141 modem for this model. Replacement was simple. Bandwidth has been amazing and buffering on video has been a thing of the past. Great if you have very high speed internet.

Great Modem with great speed. If the documentation had been good, i would be happier. It says the top and bottom lights turn green when it is connected, but mine turn white after they blink green.

Previoiusly had Time Warner complete home package and go tired of the high expense and finally decided to cut back to only internet. Great modem works great with my netgear router.

Purchased this cable modem for use with Oceanic TW 200mb internet, works great with no issues. This is the second Surfboard I have used and it is the go to make for cable internet.

I am very happy with this modem. Has allowed very fast downloads and streaming videos with out buffering Plus can run many devices on network with out noticing any slowness

This is hands down the best modem in the market today. It has taken all the headaches of an outdated and inefficient modem for my family. Now I can stream videos without any issues.
