I can not tell any differences in speed from the modem Comcast was renting to me at $10/month. Buy your own and enjoy payback in 9 months. Getting 200 MBPS on speakeasy test.

Bought this Arris SURFboard 32 x 8 to replace one currently owned. Works great and gets the job done- would definitely recommend for casual home use.

I bought this cable modem for replacing the rental one and it was perfectly compatible with xfinity internet services. I strongly recommend if you use gigabit plan.

Best Modem Best Buy offers for a normal household. I'm from a gaming/streaming family who also plays on their phones a lot. This modem handles everything with no problem.

Hooked it up and called Comcast to activate it/set it up and it was up and running and Comcast had it in their system during my call. Works great. Highly recommended.

This modem worked great for me. The only problem I had was trying to call my internet service provider to set it up on their end.

I buy a new one every couple of years. This is my fourth Arris cable modem. Much better and cheaper than the modems Comcast supplies for rent.

So far so good..have 7 devices working off it and no problems. That's streaming 2 sometimes 3 tvs.

I am happy with this product. It connects quickly and the traffic comes through at higher than 100MBPS. This is the only modem manufacturer I ever used and am very satisfied.

This modem is fast and quiet. It is working great with our Netgear router. I haven't had any WiFi complaints from our 2 teens!

We have had this for a few months now. No issues and we no longer have our WiFi speed drop from 100+ to 5. This modem has seemed to fix the issue our old modern had.
