This device connected pretty easily and does what i brought it for. for some reason Optimum still doesn't see it on my account but it still works. coupled with the eero router have much better speed .

We decided to upgrade our internet speed and needed a new modem to accommodate this. The Arris has done what we need it to and without breaking the bank.

In s year, modem charges are gone. This will increase my speed by giving me more “lanes” to access. ( ask the geeks; it’s how they helped me understand the benefit!)

Arris 32x8 DOCSIS 3.0 modem works great. Very easy to set up. Highly recommend.

Cheaper than renting the modem for a year, even with the Best Buy warranty. Just make sure your Internet provider is compatible

Works great.. had to get this one because I changed my internet service and went with a much faster speed , so I needed a whole new one. This one has ben great so far, no problems.

This Arris modem worked absolutely fine for my son's studio apartment in northwest Arkansas with Cox Communications. I give ease of use a 4 because the technical resource at Cox had to do something on his end to activate the modem, telling me the Arris SURFboards during activation do a reset the other modems do not. But I have not had that problem with my own SURFboard in my city with my internet provider, so maybe this is a Cox-specific issue. Once activated properly, the modem has been steady and dependable.

When we got a SMART TV in an area supported by Spectrum, I had to upgrade the old SURFboard to one that could handle streaming. The replacement was largely plug-and-play. The only issue involved the quality of the incoming coax from the outside pole, The new SURFboard had sufficient information for Spectrum to diagnose that the problem with speed was with the coax external to the house so they dispatched a technician to replace the cable at their expense. It was a single trip due partially to the capabilities of the SURFboard!

Definitely a great completed purchase for any home wire mesh system. Works seamlessly with Spectrum

Bought this item so won't have to keep paying monthly equipment fee. Feel speedier than one the service provider provides. If it can last 2 years, it will have paid for itself. Keep fingers crossed. Bought extended warrantee thru BestBuy too.

This modem out performs xfinity rental modem. Could only get speeds of 150mb with xfinity modem. After install of ARRIS modem get speeds of 230mb. For superior product.

Internet went out, and had to buy. No problems and works like it should. Just a few minutes to set up.

I have owned 5 of this brand modems. purchased this one because the one I had stopped working after a storm. As all the others before it works great.

The Arris - surfboard has helped to make our internet so much faster. We are not buffering like we were before this. Great item for the money!

No more monthly charges from my cable provider an by far a more superior modeum then the one I was renting from cable company. The sell price was also a most welcome surprise.

Upgraded our 6 yes old Motorola modem to get more bonded channels and hopefully an improved connection. So far very pleased as it hasn’t needed to be reset.
