Using this modem with Comcast/Xfinity, and getting the advertised speed with it going in to my firewall (router)

This product has been exceptional since day one. No problems. I would recommend this product to anyone who is in need of one.

I purchased it for upgrading my previous to get enhanced speed from Xfinity. It Works great with Xfinity Blast! speeds. The download speeds are good. Highly recommended.

This was a great replacement from the one I was renting. I was able to save on my internet bill which is great. I’ve had no problems and it works great.

My husband and I were very disappointed that Best Buy Mission Valley only had TWO modems for sale. Seems pretty ridiculous. One was this Arris for $100 and the other was a sub-model for $60. The salesperson said the $60 unit was worthless, so we bought this $100 unit, thinking it was pretty pricey. However, our internet provider told us that we could not have bought a better modem to go along with the other pricey item we bought, the Linksys Velop Trim-Band whole house wifi mesh system. So, in the end, we are happy with our much more reliable internet connection with these new, high tech items.

I returned the rental router/modem combo to Cox and upgraded to this bad boy and so far I'm getting much better spends and connection

We bought the ARRIS - SURFboard DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Mode because it came highly recommended to us by someone who already had one. It was extremely easy to install.

I liked the item by its price and network speed it can provide that is 1GBps . But as service provider is Optimum (Central NJ) it was not able to be seen by optimum end. I tried with optimum for two three hours then eventually he told this device is not compatible. Next day I purchased the lower model SB6183 that worked like charm. So when lower end model was working why the newer model is not working they need to resolve the issue. As discussed with one of the rep. They told some of these models have worked actually but most of them didn’t work so we didn’t put in compatible list.

Works well was easy to install added an Orbi unit with it so I am covered in my house and shop

Very good modem especially for the price. Don’t waste your money renting subpar modems from cable providers. Spend a few bucks and pick this up instead.

Needed a modem that would work with well with all of the WiFi devices we have connected. So far so good.

The surfboard is consistently the best product out there when it comes to dealing with the cable modems. Hooked up Google Wi-Fi and it runs like a charm.

THIS MODEM IS AWESOME. IT DELIVERS THE COVERAGE NECESSARY TO OPERATE ALL OF MY DEVICES. UPLOAD AND DOWNLOADS ARE REMARKABLE.

Previously used the same manufacturer and their bottom end modem which worked flawlessly for 3 years. Went with the same brand and a faster modem, straight to WiFi router. Took longer to get out of the box than to hook it up
