    I purchased from Best Buy my first SB6190 in late August 2021, partly because of the great product reviews and the 2-year warranty. Set up was easy and the device did the job. However, when this relatively new modem suddenly died mid-May 2022, I was shocked, but was even more stunned to learn that getting my under-warranty replacement would take a minimum of 2 weeks unless I wanted to pay a $25 shipping fee to have it delivered more quickly, which still would have been four or five days because of the weekend. I run a business from home and can't be that long without the internet. I asked the Arris customer service person (who was understanding and professional) about Arris refunding the cost of a new one if I just went to the local Best Buy to buy a replacement and was dismayed to learn that Arris wouldn't do that. I expected better from the company and am disappointed both with the quality of the product and the "fix.”
