So this is a great purchase that will allow you to save money in the long run. If you add up the monthly rent amount, which is around $10 than this modem will pay for itself in less than a year. Now for the bad and why I rate this 4 stars is because after a couple of years either the manufacturer or Comcast no longer pushes updates for the device making it obsolete and you will have to buy another. The reason that you will be forced to purchase is due to slow internet speeds, which is annoying.

Its was working fine but a lightning storm came through and fired several of my electrical products. I got the second one to replace the first one.
