its not what its cracked up to be but....

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.SAYS itll do 1.4 gig but it doesnt. not on my mediacom gig connection anyway. it did get up to around 500k but thats not gonna fly. bought the 8200 on amazon because bb didnt have in in stock the day a power failure fried my old one. so this one will be kept as a backup. its a good modem. maybe even very good but its not gonna work on gigabit hence the 4 stars for deceptive marketing by arris.
