    It was the cheapest option I had to avoid renting from a cable company, and it's pretty good. I have a device for WIFI already, so that didn't matter, and it doesn't need restarted often at all. However, the startup is unbearably slow. I would prefer to turn it off at night, but I really don't want to wait 5-10 minutes for it to start in the morning, so it stays on all the time.

    Plug and play! I used the app for the modem and my XFinity app to register it to my account. It literally walked itself through setup. Side note, I was replacing a 12-15 year old Arris Surfboard so these are quality products!!!
