    I used this modem to replace a comcast modem. Then I was able to do away with the 10 dollar or so a month fee comcast charges. In my experience I end up replacing these modems every 4 years or so. At least that was the last 3 modems I bought. So on average is saves me 300 or so dollars in fees.

    Works great at home. I've been having problems with my connection at home, but this one solved the issue. Only thing though, sometimes it disconnects & reconnects, but I don't really mind.

    works well - one issue with xfinity. Now that I've switched from their Xfi modem I won;t be able to use a wireless DVR/tv box. The wireless version only works if you have their XFI, not your own cable modem and own wireless setup. Another dumb thing about xfinity

    I didn't want to spend an exorbitant amount of money on a cable modem, but I wanted to make sure I got one that would fit my current speeds and allow me to have faster speeds in the future. This modem is it. Arris in my mind makes the best modems, and this had the best combination of speed and price.

    Had an earlier version of this cable modem (made by Motorola) but it also had a built in WiFi router. The WiFi started flaking out so I got this device dedicated to just the cable modem instead. Seems to be working just fine. Sometimes I think it’s better to have separate devices for different functions.
