I consider this one of the best modems, period.

They claimed the modem was not Best Buy's but one of their own and would not activate. I was forced to return for another one and then they accepted the "Mac" address and activated. The product worked great. I am well pleased.

Stop paying monthly

I was spending $5 a month for rental with my services. The service provider doesn't do firmware updates and I had to have the box replace every year. So I bought this instead and I love it.

Stop renting from ISP

Speeds were faster and wifi was better. Probably due to not providing xfinity hotspot access which all comcast modems provide, using bandwidth.
