    Because I am not a electronic buff I waited until our son could install this item. He had installed our previous Arris from Time Warner without any issues. This one was not that easy and after a long call to Time Warner it was installed and linked to our router. After that it connected wirelessly to all our computers and electronic devices without further problems. So far no problems and we are very pleased with it.

    so far so good after one month. called and registered with comcast and no issues so far. paired with orbi ax4200. docsis 3.1 isnt a must unless you have high upload speeds and over gig of downspeed which is still rare.

    I wanted to replace my Xfinity combo modem & wifi router which was not giving me the up load speeds for my Ring cameras. Even at 200+ Mbps download speeds to the modem, the wifi portion was marginal. This Arris modem in combo with the Google Home wifi setup is working much better.

    This has improved my upload speed consistency considerably. Set up was very easy well. One note for others who may set this, up, you need to temporarily turn off openDNS in your router for the set up to work with xFinity if you use it.

    Was having bad connection for two years got this and haven’t had any problems! Wish I had done this two years earlier. Also it pays for itself.
