    This is my second surfboard. After contacting my internet carrier complains about my speed, I was informed that the software in my old modem was not compatible, and kept my speeds lower than 30mbps. I had that modem for 5 years and had no hesitation in purchasing a new one.

    So far this has been a great purchase and we have wi-fi everywhere we need it and with a strong signal. Worth the money and the $50 to have Geeksquad set it up properly and describe how to use it.

    I believe in owning my own cable modem because it saves money and avoids my modem becoming an "open" Xfinity wifi hotspot (something that you can turn off but I prefer avoiding the whole issue). My older modem no longer supports the latest protocols, so I bought the latest version.

    Was having an issue with my old 2 in 1 midem/router so I replaced with this. Connected to my Linksys router and I'm getting great signal all over my house. It's been in use for a little over a month when I wrote this review.

    One of the guys in the store recommended I speak to the computer guy since he just added modems and wireless to his house. I do not know what all the tech talk meant, but the guy installing my cable internet even said this was a great choice to match my wireless router!

    Superb cable internet router! We have our Netgear Nighthawk hooked up to it and they both work very well together to distribute strong Wi-Fi signal throughout our house. Highly recommend this product!

    This repalced my 7 year old modem that gave up the ghost. Setup was easy and done with minimal swearing. Hopefully it will last as long as the previous one did.
