New modem solved all my issues

Research revealed my old modem was really OLD - a dinosaur. Got a list of approved modems from my provider and headed to Best Buy. The sales guy helped me pick out what's best for my application. It works great!

Ok for a basic modem without a router function

No config options at all. You will need a firewall/router to go with this unit. Also, Comcast (horrible customer service) will not allow a static IP if you aren’t using their leased power hungry modem. Did I say that Comcast has horrible customer service?

I would have been charged $10 monthly if I ‘rented’ a similar device, in addition to my standard service. By purchasing and installing this modem, it pays for itself in a few short months.

Modem upgrade

I replaced it with this one and it works great. My Cox Internet is still crummy but it clearly is not the fault of the modem as they had indicated.

Instant Speed Upgrade on a budget!

We upgraded from the SB6121 and the SB6183 as they kept dragging when the family was streaming for college or videos on demand. After the install, it fired up and we have had no downtime or buffering. This was a great upgrade for a budget price. PROS - ARRIS/Motorola Name and Quality - Easy install and setup - Up to 1.4 Gbps download speeds - 32 down x 8 up channels to handle everything CONS - None at this point

Excellent Replacement for Spectrum Internet Modem

This modem is not wireless but I pair it with a ORBI whole house wireless system and it works flawlessly.
