    I got tired of buying the just bare minimum upgrade device from ISP and having to replace it every time I wanted to get an increase in data speed. With a full gig capability this device can max out the speed that is available from the ISP.

    Always had a modem/router combo until this recent upgrade. Probably will never go back after seeing the improvement this baby did to my home network (previous setup Nighthawk AC1900 gateway current setup Arris modem and Asus AC3200 router)

    Great product, but 1st installation failed, GEEK SQUAD HAD TO RETURN AND CORRECT 1st installation As a note EVERYONE IS VERY NICE, but scheduling and RESCHEDULING is FRUSTRATING AT BEST

    I found that it sometimes had some trouble reaching the max throughput that I was paying for, but that could also be the ISP. In theory it should pass through 1 gigabit per second, my 400mbps connection would fluctuate from 200-400. But for the price, it's a pretty good modem.

    Had a modem/router all in one and wanted to separate them with newer hardware. This is working great for us. Have had it a month so far and the only thing I’m not 100% happy with is it’s in my bedroom and the display is bright. I’m haven’t had time to check if that’s adjustable yet to be fair.

    Its a docsis 3. If you have a gigabit up and down then your not reading this review and your probably not using cable your using fiber so this is more then enough for current standards.

    Great unit for any Xfinity users. Any spends at 800 to 1gb just pay the extra money and buy the DOCs 3.1 version

    I had a previous modem that work good but it could only handle 12 devise . His modem can handle 32 devises and it works perfectly With all the newer items we add to our house that need a Wi-Fi connections you will need to upgrade

    I moved up to the Surfboard 32 X 8 modem and my bandwidth needs expanded to 400 MB from 100 mb. My previous modem would only pass 230 MB on a 400 MB circuit. Easy to install with the internet service provider
