Set up was easy and this modem worked great until we had an electrical storm a couple of months later. The output quit working and I called customer support to see if I could do anything to get it working. after trying a few things they said it was a hardware problem and it was considered an act of God so they wouldn't replace it. I ended up buying another brand to replace it. I think the product is good but may need a more robust design. It was on a surge proctor and none of my other electronics went out, even the ones plugged into the same surge proctor. I'm giving it 2 stars because I think the product is OK but customer support is not so good.

My old Surfboard modem (Motorola labelled) had some serious issues and needed to be replaced. Good thing they're still made--even under a different name. This one's up and running just fine!

Once I called my cable provider about this unit, I was good to go. I only wish it had more connection points for things that use Ethernet cable.

Had to replace our old modem because it was no longer compatible with Comcast. This was one of the modems they recommended. We chose it because it had the highest ratings and reviews. It's been working well without any problems.

I’m not experienced enough about what kind of modem I needed to buy but the associate recommended this one for the price and functionality. It works well with my Orbi System so all is well.

Comcast in the greater Atlanta area operates using 25 bonded channels. This modem is capable of utilizing 32 bonded channels. That means when there's any unused, or newly opened, channels I get additional speed on my wifi.

Definitely a good stable modem for those who isn't getting pushed into getting the newer model by the cable company. Works great!

This product works great with Xfinity cable service.

I know this router cost more than most and it may not have some extra bells and whistles allowing you to get into it an manage it, but 32 downstream channels where others only have 16 or less. That makes it all worth it in my book.

This was easy to setup. Worked well with our router.

I found that my previous Arris was a little faster to reset when I needed to do that. Other than that there is no difference. I wish my ip was a little more updated so I didn’t have to use a lower level product. Not Best Buy’s fault. They were very helpful.

This item was recommended by the sales associate who was helping me improve the poor internet connection that I have with Mediacom. Apparently all their equipment is old and refurbished and causes connection problems.

Works just fine and saves me $10 on my cable bill!
