We had a lot of issues getting our internet to work throughout our house especially since we added a Ring system. Using this item helped us resolve our problems.

Product was functioning ok ant first, but the connection was poor. On Aug. 20, 2023, all of a sudden it stopped working. The Wi-Fi would say connected on my phone, but it wouldn’t connect any of the devices. I have since went back to the Xfinity X1 and everything functions perfectly.

Hardest part of setting up was answering more security questions for tech support with ISP than what is needed to talk to their billing.

generic cable modem from Spectrum limited to 100 Mbps. This modem is better. Just make sure your PC or laptop ethernet is upgraded to 1000mbps vice old 100, and router can handle before you get this modem.

It works much better than the cable modem that the cable company supplies with their service. It is very attractive in white and blends in with other equipment nicely.

I am not terribly technical, so the tech on the phone was great - didn't talk down to me or make me feel stupid! Once I understood what to do, it was easy to install.

I bought this to replace an older Surfboard I thought was failing. Turns out it was an outside cable issue. Regardless, it did improve our streaming experience.

I bought this with the Asus wifi 6 Gaming Router to get wifi 6 for the ps5. My connection is way better even if none of my current devices are not wifi 6 compatible.

No problems at all to install and start; great speed.

More channels equals more traffic capacity. Replaced modem with only half the channels and slower processor. Different color status LEDs on the front panel is a nice touch.

No idea why I have been paying Xfinity for all these years. $14 per month = $168 per year times so many years...and this one is a much better quality too.

Since my local internet provider refused to upgrade my modem and router, I had to purchased a new modem and so far it has worked wonderfully! I am a very satisfied customer.

It’s better to own your router than it is to pay rental on it every month, plus you can purchase a fast and better router than your service provider gives you.

Our old modem went bad, so I visited the Federal Way Best Buy and received great help from a sales associate. This one fit my needs, and the network is running faster and smoother than ever. Very satisfied!

I purchased this modem based on one of the sales reps at the store expecting better performance with my network. I pay for the max bandwidth of 300 Mbps and was told this modem will perform better than the one that is provided by my cable provider. After using the product for a couple of weeks, I noticed slower speeds and reconnected the one from my cable provider which is not charging me for a rental fee. I have heard there is a replacement/upgrade model that has been released but the technology from cable providers do not support the newer modem from ARRIS which is the SB8200. Perhaps this modem would be good for someone not running high speeds and is paying a fee to rent their modem. I will be installing a more advanced system based on Magnolia's suggestion. A Luxul XBR-4500 or soon to be released 5000 model with an access point for optimum performance.

This cable modem is wonderful! We hooked it up with an eero and the wifi now carries throughout the entire house and strong enough for picky PC gamers!

We bought this modem as a replacement for the Comcast Xfinity Modem that we were being charged for monthly. This is worth the investment. The range is also better in our home.
