Works just fine and it sure beats renting it from the cable company. a Best Buy associate was very helpful in steering me to what I needed.

This met or exceeded all of the requirements of my ISP, and worked right out of the box. Now I'm saving $8 every month in cable modem rental charges, which is only a 15 month payback! And it hasn't hiccuped once!

Purchased in anticipation of internet speed increase once infrastructure is complete in my area. It is the most capable unit available as far as I know and eliminates my monthly lease fee so eventually pays for itself.

This is a great alternative to renting a modem from your service provider. It does not work for voice/phone service. So verify with your provider that it will work for you.

Every day, the modem would somewhat reboot itself once. It worked flawlessly before and after the reboot. It has not happened for about a week after I bought this so I think it must have been an ISP issue. Previous Arris modem had no such issues.

This is my first privately owned modem and I’m so happy I took the plunge. Already saving money and the coverage seems to be completely adequate.

We were having trouble with some of our wifi devices dropping or halting and Comcast said it was the modem because it was not up to date with the new speeds. Changed to this modem and all is good.

We had a high speed internet provider but our modem/router just wasn’t optimizing the speed available. This has enhanced our whole home reception. Gaming, streaming...you name it and it performs!

Easy to set up the modem. It hasn't dropped any signals or connection. Very reliable and fast speeds.

Needed a newer modem with the increased 32x8 channels to support online gaming and streaming. Works amazing and even the online registration through Cox was ridiculously easy...no problems!

Pretty much plug and play usability. Bought this with the Google WiFi pack and it all works pretty well together. Only time I've had issues is when my Xfinity internet was having issues.

Just moved over to Xfinity from CenturyLink and needed a modem. Read reviews and this model was highly recommended. Glad I got this one.

The cable company's equipment combined the router & modem into 1 unit. The Best Buy associate advised me that this may be the source of the wifi coverage and streaming issues. Seems like he was correct.

Best Buy told me to turn in my modem and buy this one with my own router and it should solve all our connection problems -- and they were right. No more complaining from the kids.

I bought this to replace my older "end of service" model since it kept dropping the connection. Once I called Comcast and got it up and running it has been fine after a few restarts.

Got this for our house since we dint want to pay the rental fee every month with our internet provider and it has been great, better service with it.

Good modem, dropped straight in without any configuration, working perfect with now issues, getting better bandwidth than specified on my circuit, very happy. Well worth the extra few bucks.

I have a 3 story house and this modem (icw my router), has enough juice (bw) to cover the whole house. We have 5 phones, 4 computers, and 2 Xbox 1's being supported by this modem. Highly recommended.
