had a modem from the internet company that always cut out and had issues. I installed this one and connected, its been great.

I was surprised at the size of the unit. It's been awhile since I've purchased a modem. This should pay itself in less than a year and it's rated for 1gb so should be useful for years to come.

This is perfect if you already have your wifi taken care of! So much better than the rental you get from the cable company!

Who likes a modem/router combo from Comcast? *Pause* *Silence* I don't either. This modem works for small homes that are looking for simplicity in a already complex internet environment.

Had a DOCSIS 3.1 provided by the cable company that kept losing the connection. We replaced it with this and haven't has an issue since.

We were using the cable company's modem and was always having slow or disconnected internet. Since buying the new modem we have fewer issues.

I have been using there products for years and haven’t had any trouble. Would definitely recommend for a 1000 square foot home. Coverage is great.

I've been trying to get rid of cable for a while now and getting this helped me have faster upload with no problems, unlike with the Cable One worthless modem. I would recommend this product.

Have not had an issue with drop wifi since I have installed this unit in my house . Better coverage and stronger signals thru out my house and outside.

works as advertised on no tech expert but works will with my cable internet subscription plus my household uses over 10 devices that pull lots of wifi and LAN usage and no interruptions as of yet.

Had to replace our modem when lightning fried the LAN connection. Went with another ARIS Surfboard, but this time added an inline surge protector.

This modem provides improvement over its predecessor in terms of bandwidth. I did have trouble with setup since I foolishly tried setting up the new modem with a new router. Otherwise, can't complain too much. Minor outages, sometimes requiring reset.

I was torn between the 3.0 and 3.1. I went with the 3.0 after several conversations with Best Buy staff. Good choice so far. Better that what my provider had by far!

My old unit was a router/modem combo, with the advice of an associate at Best Buy I went with a stand alone router. The experience is awesome, speed and quality of signal is unparalleled.

Having a modem with thismmamy channels immediately increased the wifi quality in my home. I connected with a Google mesh router system for great wifi.

Does what it’s supposed to, I just use it to be able to connect my pc to an Ethernet cord on the other side of the house from the router.

My signal always dropped randomly around the house with the user modem router combo from cox. After getting the surfboard and a Nighthawk router I now have reception everywhere in my house!

Setting up was little difficult because lack of expertise for the Xfinity representative, I had to go up the chain and talk to her supervisor and then it was a breeze

works great the only thing I had an issue with is that the green lights to show it is working turn white. After I called the manufacturer they informed me that is what happens to the white models and the green gets faded out by the 2 center blue lights. Other than that it works great.

Had to buy it since the previous one died (even tho under warranty) since I needed it right away.
