I purchased this modem from Best Buy so that I can get rid of my tower I was leasing from Xfinity and it’s saving me a bundle cash

This modem lasted has lasted us a few years so far. Bought a backup just in case - can't not have internet with these COVID times.

I do have heavy gamers in the house and they complain of lag during the game. I have to often reboot this router at least once a week to get the speed back. It works well for my home office though so if your using for that then it should be fine.

This modem contains the PUMA 6 chipset which has REALLY bad latency issues. I've called Arris about this issue and they stated that an software update was provided to Comcast in august 2019, but that did not resolve the issue! after speaking with the Arris rep, his resolution was to replace my sb6190 with a "new" sb6190 with the same chipset. I have several years in IT networking and this is a constant headache. if you are a fan of Arris you should go with the SB6183 or the sb8200 both contain a Broadcom BCM3390 chipset.

Does what it is supposed to do. Works with older Cox cable internet connections. Not with their newer Docsis 3.1.

Great if your house hold has 2 to 3 TV's. If you are going to run (3) or more TV's at the same time, plus gaming computers, we recommend the next level up.

I was so glad you had this in stock. This will help tremendously as I now don't have to pay the cable provider each month. Excellent Device

This modem replaced my Zoom modem. It has been stable sine install, and the higher channel bonding has has made my connection more stable.

After I purchased the modem and a separate router, I took both the the Verizon store next door to get them "linked" to my account and to make sure they would work. Took them home, plugged them in and started with the modem... all kinds of problems, no connection. Ended up calling Arris Tech Support and spent 49 min with a young lady. She walked me through several different screens and finally wanted to change me $19.99 to remotely connect to my PC to do the work herself. I said no and call Comcast. He spent 14 min TOTAL and had me up and running. System works perfect now but it should not be that much trouble to setup and definately not $20 for tech support for a product less than an hour old.

Works perfectly. Happy to have a quality product so I don’t have to pay the monthly fee to rent the modem from the cable company.

If you want to save paying lease amount to Xfinity. This the best cable modem to go with. Saved me money every month.

I had an old old modem that i didnt realize was slowing down my connection as bad as it was. After replacing it i no longer have buffering or lagging. Its great!

Works great. Exactly as advertised. Keep in mind, this is a modem only. You will need a router if you want wireless internet.

We cut the (cable/satellite) cord and switched just streaming services. In order to do that we needed a stronger modem and this was perfect.

great router and it’s better then the cable company issued router. why pay extra on your cable bill when can have your own!

Don't pay fees to your ISP when you can buy easy to set up modems like these. They do exactly what you expect and I have never had an issue with this brand.

Great modem for the price and its compatible with a lot of internet providers.

Contradictory setup directions but finally got it working. Powered wifi no problems. Hope the auto re-start feature stops need to manually reboot my older modem. Good price.

Price/performance is excellent, gets the job done.
