Decided to take a chance and return all my Comcast rental equipment and invest the higher end modems and routers. This was a great purchase with "idiot proof" set up

took it to my local Comcast office and they looked at it, entered some codes in their system took it home plugged it in to all the connections and i was on-line.

This modem does a great job getting me the full bandwidth that I'm paying for. Installed this, to replace the provider unit, and saw IMMEDIATE improvement!

The product works pretty much as advertised. From on-line reviews, I was made aware of the need for CAT 3 cables to get full functionality from the cable modem. I think this should be specifically noted in the products setup instructions.

This Arris - SURFboard Docsis 3.0 Cable Modem works great with the eero wifi system. Don't pass this awesome combo because they work outstanding together.

Was getting lousy service from Suddenlink. Decided to get a new modem and this one fits their protocol. Service has been great ever since.

SURFboards are the best modems I've ever used. This is my second one. The last one lasted 10 yrs. I only replaced it for the higher speed capability.

Good little router! Bought our own router and gave cable company's back so we weren't sharing signal with everyone around us. Seems to me we have been experiencing a much stronger connection. Glad we switched to this one

ARRIS Surfboard worked as expected. Last one failed unexpectedly for unknown reason.

I got to get rid of the Spectrum junk standard lease modem and this unit works very well with the Linksys router I bought.

Had this for a while now. Seen reviews about how it fails because of intels chip malfunctioning. Have t had any problems so far.

This router was overkill for our needs, but was advised we wouldn't have to upgrade to keep up with technology changes. the 16 channel would've sufficed.
