Far better than the Xfinity modem, my network goes down less often and my network throughput has increased

It works good and gets the job done. Sometimes it still runs a little slow, but it is much faster than my previous one.

When told by an honest service employee that you could save money by buying instead of renting & get a better unit. DUMP the Xfinity router.

I am satisfied with my purchase. It takes a little longer to connect to Comcast cable on the initial power up each time but holds the connection very well

Bought it to replace an older Netgear. Using it on 25MB Xfinity Internet Service. Have been using it for a month and so far OK, just had to reboot it once though. Not seeing any extra benefit from the Netgear.

This modem is excellent. Have not droped internet signal since installed. Combined with the LINKSYS router it provided and excellent home WIFI system.

Unit is an upgrade from the previous unit and compatible with the new router to provide a much improved service.

I have had this device for a little over 30 days now and have not had a problem. However it did take a bit to setup since you have to call Comcast and we all know how much fun they are to deal with. Buy this save you money!!!

Standard cable modem. I think Costco has a similar black one. Was told the number of ~channels might eventually affect traffic or bottlenecking- so opted for the one with a few more. Honestly not sure if it makes a difference

Bought this modem to help save on monthly rental fees from cable provider. Installed simply and only needed to contact cable company to enable connection.

Bought this and router to replace companies one to stop paying monthly fee. So far no complaints. My house is 4000 Sq ft and my setup gets the job done

I had a Docsis 2.0 before this modem and it was causing major spikes in my internet. Replaced it with this and i have had consistent internet ever since.

Works adequately, not as blazing fast as more expensive models or what Comcast gives you. I have several devices on my network & running Google Wifi as my network but streaming can be paused/slow at times, otherwise it's fine.

This was my 1st modem. However, when I upgraded my ISP plan to 1000Mbps, I needed a modem with 3.1 dicsis

Bought it to upgrade my cable modem only to find out that it has no phone line. Returned it and bought a upgraded router which solved my original issue.

I purchased this after visiting with the Best Buy Rep. it was very easy to hook up. The reason I purchased this was the number of channels it has.

After a recent lighting strike we were in need to replace modem. We have great success and also helped with issue of connection with anywhere in the house.

I purchase after I plan to used airport express. It’s a great combination . I was using SBG6580 and did not like the combo ( router and modem )

It’s very easy to use the only thing sometimes you have to reset it that’s all but only sometimes.
