    I am pleased with the Arris Surfboard Modem. It does what it is made to do. I had to replace an older model that was giving me some trouble. Hopefully this one will last a bit longer.

    We replaced an older modem with this one and the performance is ok. Our internet connection interrupts, but I'm not sure if it's the modem or the provider. We do need a booster for the lower level of the house to get better wifi signals.

    I purchased this modem cause I did not want to pay the Cable company fee of $10 per month. this was half the cost of rental on a 24 Mo term agreement and it will handle up to 1Gig speeds so this will last for a few years
