It has the Puma 6 chipset, which causes latency and connection problems. Here is a link to an article http://www.dslreports.com/shownews/Arris-Sued-Over-SB6190-Surfboard-Modem-Latency-Flaw-139331 There are class action lawsuits against this Arris for selling a defective product. This purchase gave me such trouble, I glad I was able to return it in time, and get it out of my life.
