    Originally, this modem did really well and replaced an old Netgear modem that had died on me after years of having it. However, didn’t even have it a month before this one died. I may just have a faulty one but this experience is making me stray away from this model.

    It's faster than the one spectrum rents but it only has one ethernet and takes FOREVER to boot!!!

    It works great. But sometimes it loses its signal. I don't know if it's the modem or Comcast. My bet is open Comcast. Wish it had telephone capabilities.

    I purchased this at the recommendation of Comcast and have to say this offers absolutely no performance increase over the cable modem it replaced. In fact, reboots are dog slow now. I really think this is a piece of doo doo, but it supposedly offers an upgrade path that my previous modem didn't. Sadly, I think Comcast gets a kickback for every one of these modems sold.
