    This modem works great mostly, no major trouble while I had it. Only problem is if you have Mediacom ot does not support their 1G speeds.

    On the box it says compatible with all internet service providers. It didn’t work with Optimum. Had to return it.

    we purchase for the office the model is 16x8 or something like that and that works perfect for many years ti replace the one optimum rent for $10 a month.si que decuse to buy this upgrade model faster for pur home and we can not make it work, we contact tech support and they said maybe is bad unit, we purchase a second unit and we tried and again no connection so tech support maybe it is not compatible... so maybe we will try the 16x8 the lower one and see if that works. but for the zip code 10562 does not work. we will buy the Lowe one what I think is the 16x8 and if this dont works at zip 10562 don't know why it works at zip code 10566. the one at the office works perfect in 2 years we have it so I will give it 5 stars but I am reviewing the 32x8 and that do not work at zip code 10562 with Cablevision, optimum the same company...good luck
