This modem is okay. My internet has been spotty. Not sure if it's from this or from the router, xfinity or all of the above. Lot of bad reviews but don't let it scare you. It's a modem.

I have to return it, and get a powerful wireless cable modem to replace it. It seemed like a great deal considering xfinity charges $10 a month for theirs. For general internet use it is fine, until it slows down and I have to reset everything.

It probably would of worked great but yes I do still have a home phone so this one doesn't have voice as an option and my home phone would work with this modem. so I cant recommend.
