Bought this modem to replace cable's modem. Did not open it for a few weeks only to then discover it was not what I needed and too late to return. Make sure you need a modem without phone line jacks before buying this model.

So far this modem is working great. The speeds are very fast using Spectrum Cable as a service. We'll see how long it lasts.

This cable modem is great. Easy to setup. Bought this one for my mother-in-laws based on the solid performance of my own.

Needed because I was upgrading my Cox ISP service.

I thought this would be what I needed to improve WiFi in my home, but after further research I concluded it would not do the job. I returned it without any questions to Best Buy. It probably is a good solution as long as it is the right application.

Good cable modem, could be better, hope Arris listens to the customers. The LED's are very bright, you can cover them with tape and still see them. The modem runs hot, so hot you can smell the plastic case from time to time. I won't get into the speeds, see update for more information. Update 02-2017 - Working with firmware version 9.1.93N. Arris' statement has made it clear that Intel's Puma 6 chipset appears to be the culprit in the jitter and latency problem users reported. "ARRIS has been working actively with Intel to address the issue, which resulted in many SURFboard SB6190 users reporting latency while running high-performance apps. Intel is providing a firmware fix to correct the condition, and we will issue it as soon as it is available."

Less data loss while streaming on multiple devices.
