Seems to drop signals occasionally but good buy!!!!

I bought this expensive modem/router with the idea that I needed to provide for streaming of video content to my two TIVOs. The distance between the router and my TIVOs is not that great, but it frequently lost contact with one or both. It would also lose contact with my tablets and cell phones. In a long telephone call with the vendor tech man, he concluded that the problem was with my ISP provider. At one time, that may have accounted for some of the problems, but the provider made some changes and I have had no further problems of that nature. Just the inability for the router to stay in contact with my users. I have switched to a mesh router, by Google, and problem has been solved. Now I have an expensive paper weight.

I have had zero problems with this modem compared to my old netgear modem that i constantly had To reset. Great buy!

I found out that keeping a separate router and modem helps your speed for online gaming. Definitely a great decision

Price was pretty good. Not very happy with the actual product, it keeps dropping signal which causes me to do a total reboot. Sometimes multiple times a day.

Plenty of power to cover the 6-8 devices in our home

This works fine. I replaced an earlier model Arris router with this one. Odd problem in that the protective packaging plastic really stuck to the front surfaces, making them very hard to remove.

Bought this as an approved Comcast modem. there is a known issue with this modem and comcast internet (among other ISP's). there is an issue with the intel chip and the result is "internet lag". theoretically there is a firmware update coming to address this, but since these modem's are owned by the customer it is unknown whether comcast will "push" this firmware update to the customer. Might never get the update. Might be best to select another modem. I selected the netgear cm600 modem as an alternative. I think one of the higher speed rated netgear modems has the same intel chip that has the same issue as the Arris one I had issues with. Probably best to stay away from that one as I read that this had the same "lag" issue.

This modem did not improve our internet speed any.
