    I'm sure it is a good modem but we couldn't get it to work with our cable provider so we had to return it. Found out our cable provider gives modems free of charge.

    According to all of the reviews, my internet speed download and upload should have been faster. Now that I returned my rented router to Cox and installed this one, my speeds are slower...

    It’s great if your just looking for a modem to get out of rental fees but you’ll need a router with this one. I prefer modem/router combos to save space, time and money.

    This contains the problematic PUMA chipset 6. I'll give it a 3 star review just because I didn't bother using it. I would go for a CM600 instead.

    Only reason im given it a 3 star is because spectrum runs 3.1 so i will be returning this spectrum does not support this..

    My speed and doubled but firmware still needs work. I get long ping hops every few attempts. 1ms 2ms 1ms 2ms then it spikes to 30ms and as high as 120ms. Stick to the 6183 if you can
