I bought this one because I bought the exact same model one year ago and it went out. Maybe I should try another brand.

This cable modem does not have wifi capability, only ethernet connection.

Remember this is just a modem. You will need a router if you want to get on the internet.

This seems to be the only model that Comcast supported that was sold locally at my best buy...didn't have much choice in the matter.

It's a good product, doesn't work with orbi. Had to buy a different one.

I can't give a great review as I had to return it. I was advised to buy the wrong item.

Worthless. Obsolete tech that Comcast says is incompatible with their network. I bought this modem thinking it would be able to handle the gigabit internet I pay for from Xfinity because of what it says on the box hit that was a total lie. No one at the store warned me that this was antiquated technology or that it was already obsolete. Totally wasted my money and won’t be shopping at Best Buy for a replacement. By the time Xfinity could come out to tell me what the problem was it was past the return window.

I bought this item for my son and his only complaint is the volume is always going up and down. He still enjoys them everyday..

I am a Northland Cable subscriber (only thing available), and no matter what was tried, it would not connect. Local Northland office tried, and it just would not connect. Bought a Netgear instead, hooked up after first plug in. Had to upgrade to DOCSIS 3.0 from DOCSIS 2.0, otherwise my Motorola worked fine.

Was really excited to save some money owning my own modem even if set it up it would not work had to return the unit bummer

1000 mbps is not supported with this modem. It may work with the lower speed.

Bought wrong item and replaced with another one that was better

I thought it would be good like most of th SB series but boy was I wrong. It has an intel chipset and the latency is all over the place. Arris is aware of the problem but no solution yet. They are working with intel to update the firmware but it will only help with one issue. Arris support was terrible. The modem got so bad Comcast came out because arris was blaming them and they said they are on the verge of taking it off the compatible list. The 2 year warranty from Arris is a fight. I can't use it because dial up would be faster(seems that way). They said I just have to wait for a fix. How can you do that when your modem becomes unusable? Lucky for my standby zoom5345! Back to lightning speeds. All 6190's have the issue . People closer to the node may not see the problem as bad but after dealing with Arris I can see they don't care about you after they got your money!

Do not buy this modem if your isp is optimum will not work

Does the job but xfinity modem worked better with my Google wifi
