Modem keeps dropping connection to source. Must reset the modem in order to restore internet connection. Happens on a weekly basis.

It failed after the first day of using it could not get it to connect to my home Wi-Fi once it finally did connect nothing but issues kept failing fast may have just had a dud, but did not repurchase a new one

Stopped working all of sudden. Would not power on. Only had it for 7 months.

Modem had been purchased and returned by someone before me. I bought this one and tried to register it with the cable company. It’s MAC address was already in the company’s system in an active state. Someone scammed Best Buy & the cable company. I had a product I couldn’t use and it took me over a month to get it returned & my money back. Best Buy was a pain in the butt on the return of a used product. Not one of my using but by someone else.

Do not buy this! If i would have researched more I would not be regretting the purchase. 6 weeks after purchase it started intermittently losing connection. Lights don’t change, no indication. Of course I was past the return window so now I’m stuck with this which will lose connection intermittently especially when watching movies. Thought maybe it was my provider but it’s the chipset in this modem.

Good product that would help in making sure your get the best signal for your home wi fi.

Might be a good modem but I'll never find out. After hours on the phone with Optimum they tell me it is incompatible with their system.

This modem has not been the best. Ever since switching to it, my internet has repeatedly disconnected and I’ve had to troubleshoot (when I say “repeatedly” I literally mean at least twice a day). I’ve come to realize that it’s because the modem is constantly overheating. Why? I have no idea. So I even placed a huge box fan next to it to try and keep it cool. Still overheats. I’ll be returning it for something else.

I replaced my burned out Linnux modem with this one and was so disappointed in it that I returned it almost immediately.

I bought it thinking it would be an upgrade to the rental I have. Unfortunately, it turns out it doesn't work with Optimum. Had to return it to get a different model.

So I purchased this item after reading reviews like most for my xfinity service. Didn’t want to rent my modem. I purchased it at full price and my wife picked it up. Installed it and failed to get recognized by xfinity. Kept seeing an error message while trying to log in my wifi asking me to register my new service. Pretty annoying. As I was returning it I noticed on the receipt it was a returned item open box. I paid full price online and this is what. Bestbuy Bellevue gave me.

Modem constantly reboots itself. There seems to be a lot of LAG so if you're a gamers that's going to be a problem. I know there was a patch for it but no it didn't really help it. If you are just going to browse the web then you could probably be ok with it.

Had to return because we were sold the wrong modem for our Comcast bundle.

This is a great unit for my 1000sq apartment, getting strong signal everywhere

Recommended by the clerk but did not work at all except in 3 rooms of the house. We had to return it and buy a different one.

Specs are better than my existing modem, but the performance did not prove to be much better. Recommend only if you are paying monthly for the modem.

Great cable modem for our large home. Signal passes well through thick walls.

It worked fine when it worked, however Arris apparently doesn't last longer than a year. We called the manufacturer and they blamed Spectrum, stated when they push out updates it messes up and needs to be factory reset. So we reset and it worked for 30 minutes and crashed again. Time to try different options. Don't mean to be a 1 star Karen but I wouldn't recommend them. This is my second Arris modem btw within a year.

Needed to upgrade my modem for a higher speed internet connection. Modem works fine. Have had no problems.

This product was suggested to me by an Cox rep at Best Buy, and I figured they should know what's good, or not! WRONG.....After about several months, I started having the same problems that had me purchasing this item in the first place. Turns out that this particular product had been causing problems since 2016, with a lot of consumers, and I eventually had to go, and purchase another Modem which has been great now for over 2 years.
