I replaced my Arris SB6121 modem with this one, Arris SB6190, since Comcast kept on reminding me that my old modem was not delivering the 200 MBps speeds that I was paying for and they considered it at the End of Life for technical support at their end. I have Comcast Internet Blast that is supposed to deliver 200 MBps. The Arris SB6190 easy delivers that speed. I have achieved up to 240 MBps in some speed tests. No problem in installing on my system. Needed assistance from Comcast Technical support to reset the Log Startup file that was attached to my account. I could only achieve 25MBps when I first installed the modem. After finally getting through to Comcast's technical support in the USA vs. the initial help line people I was able to get the rated speeds that I am paying for. This was no fault of the Arris SB6190, but of the Comcast setup that controls the speed delivered to my modem. This is an EXCELLENT modem.

Purchase this whenever I wanted to get rid of Internet providers modem with their telephone service. Only issue is I had to contact the internet provider for them to ping the signal to this new modem. Had maybe two issues where I had to do a hard reset in the past couple years. Overall I think it's a good modem

Actually sped up my cable connection!

We have had this modem for 3 days and so far it's Exactly as described. The Best Buy associate recommended it to go with the Comcast package and Nighthawk wireless router I had. The Arris SB6190 actually sped up my up and download speeds that I was getting with the Comcast provided modem/router combo. I'm coming from UVerse so I'm already happy with the increased speed, this is icing on the cake. Simple set up, called comcast, they did a quick change in their system to recognize the Arris and I was off and running. Definitely worth the price.

Excellent speeds, great reliability but just be weary you get abput 2-3 years usage out of it based on the amount of data your using. In a house hold of 4 with 4 phones 2 pcs and few smart tvs it handled everything well. Will always stand ny arris modems for speed and reliability

I only rate it a 1 because this modem needs coaxal cable to work. I didn't have that. This was NOT the modem for me! I wouldn't recommend if you don't have cable that uses the above.

So far, this modem has treated me well to the best of my knowledge. However, lately, the modem status page/web config page does not listen or work on 192.168.100.1. It has previously with the exact same setup so I suspect my ISP, Spectrum, has disabled it. They claim they have not so... not sure if defective in that regard or an ISP issue. For what it is worth though, the speeds are great and the modem seems pretty dang solid and reliable.

I recently upgraded my internet with my cable company, and wanted to make sure I had an up-to-date modem that would get me what I'm paying for. This one does not disappoint! It was easy to setup (after calling my internet company to have them set it up on their end as well). It's small, so it doesn't take up much room, and the lights on the front tell you everything is working.

2 years trying to fix Cox Cable's Junk modem, no phone, TV, internet, Icloud, Wifi, Nothing. 25 Cox home visit's, and 2 month's refund.Cox senior tech support installed Arris 32 band modem yesterday. WOW!!! Junk modem's speed was 48 mbps, best 87 mbps. Arris did 3 gigabytes/second. As good as Verizon fiberoptic Fios. My 65 inch Sony 4K now works spectacular, Apple Imac 27 5K, even better. Apple senior tech, said it's the best he's ever seen, screen sharing, better than Fios! No $10.00 per month rental fee. $600.00 refund pays for a great modem 4 times.

We upgraded to Comcast (Xfinity) 200mbps service. Our older Arris could only hit about 119mbps and was limited to 25mbps per channel. This new modem blows that away! Even download speeds on our iPhones are around 100mbps (they were 20mbps). Our wired direct devices are hitting 175mbps minimum! Fantastic router and super easy install!

Bought it 3 years ago, and it's still the best interest equipment decision. You can't rent the modem from Comcast. You're just blowing money! Works well and was super easy to set up.

This modem flies. Your connection is only as good as your equipment, and this is a great one to buy if you have any type of high speed connection. I have a 100 mbps internet plan, and I speed test out at 100+ pretty consistently. I've had it 6 months or so, and needed to reboot it maybe twice. It's worth the money.
