Read the reviews here and watched a few youtube reviews and purchased this router. Easy install as I already had wifi and no phone on the one I was renting from Time Warner. Took their router back to them and will save about $15.00 a month on my cable bill. Will pay for itself in less than a year. Same speed as Time Warner. Very happy!

Save on combat monthly charges and have strong reliable internet. You will forget you even have this. I bought a combo when my old surfboard went out and it took me a week to set up and still had connectivity issues. Returned it and went back to surfboard which I should have done in the first place. And all had been smooth sailing since. No problems at all.

I got this modem because I was switching from DSl to cable and did not want to lease a modem from the cable company. This is forsure one of the best modem I have used and I enjoy pairing it with the nighthawk X6. If you have a lot of wifi connections in your house. This for sure does keep up with the download speeds.

Fast modem and easy set up. I paired it with Netgear AC1750 router and my internet improved significantly! For better internet performance, its worth it to buy separate modem and router. Don't buy the combo devices because your internet speed will never reach their full potential.

I've only had it for one day, but I am so impressed with the speed that I couldn't hold off from sharing my enthusiasm any longer. I am currently paying for 75 Mbps with my internet provider, but using the Ookla speedtest I'm consistently getting download speeds of 178-180 Mbps (ran test about 11 times since install) using my iPhone, iPad and my 2011 Mac Mini. Prior to this, I was only seeing between 70-80 Mbps with the rented modem/router combo. This truly is fantastic. My inner geek is doing a happy dance. I will make sure to add an additional review if I have a longevity issue with the device, but given the reputation of Arris and the 2 year limited warranty, It probably wont be an issue. I'm so happy to say "goodbye" to modem rental fees! I can't vouch for all providers, but with Comcast, it was a pretty easy installation. I plugged it in, connected it to my computer using an ethernet cable, went to a web site, and within minutes was up and running and able to then connect to my wireless router.

Our new high speed internet required a newer model to handle the speed. This our 3rd upgrade over the years of this brand. All have performed flawlessly.

Wasn't as fast as the say it is. Supposed to be faster than Comcast's modem. it wasn't.

I bought this 6 months ago. It's been a total piece of junk. Cox finally told me the problem with all my drop outs is the modem. I only wish I had found that out long ago!

I only bought this modem because my cable company deemed end of life my other one, I have been pleased with the fast speed and easy set up of this one. I've had it for about a month now and have had no further problems.

I bought this cable modem to be use on my Comcast account, and eliminate the rental fee. Easy set up. I run the speed test tool and I notice I get and extra 5mbps downstream. Great product and easy to install.

After paying for my Comcast cable modem for a few months I decided to start investigating getting my own modem. This one seemed like it would be a good replacement for my rental modem. Before installing the modem I did a speed test and noted the download and upload speeds with the Comcast modem. Then installed this one which was very simple with no calls to Comcast and I did the speed test again. There was no difference between the Comcast rental modem and this one. It will pay for itself in less than a year.

This is a replacement for a previous Arris cable modem that failed due to the power line falling onto the coax leading to the house. Several years of the previous unit working flawlessly and the new one is the same although only a couple of months old

I purchased this modem to save money on the modem rental charge from my ISP. I have owned this modem for three years and to date it has not disappeared. I am currently running a 600 / 20 internet connection and speed tests come back at the full speed 98% of the time. The other 2% is normal network connection lags. I have used this modem on both Breezeline and Comcast networks and no problems.

This review is not about the modem which I think is probably very capable, but about Best Buy selling a used and defective modem as new. You know what they say about "buyer beware". I thought I was purchasing a new modem from Best Buy but got a used and defective modem instead. I tried to activate this modem through Spectrum and was told that this particular modem has already been used by another customer. They also were unable to activate it as it was defective and wouldn't light up. I then proceeded to check the S/N and Mac ID on the box and saw that it was different than the S/N and Mac ID on the product. I returned the product and this time received a new modem which seems to work just fine. I gave it 4 stars as I have only owned it for a few hours but would give Best Buy 0 Stars for their duplicity..

Clean, easy setup. Fabulous performance. Good price for what you get. If you want a modem you will still be using 6 years from now.. this is it!

A friend asked me to setup the the comcast internet for her new place. In the past comcast provided me Arris cable modem products and I've found them solid performers and bullet proof. This modem is the good VALUE choice: Arris product qualities plus download speeds approaching 1GB... while not costing a lot. It will last her for a number of years with bandwidth room to grow.

Had the arris 4000 series and it Well, replaced it with the 6000 series and it gave me 50 more mega bytes of data. Best modem out their.

We ditched our cable modem/router to save money and get better coverage in our house with a better router system.. This has been a steady performer.
