This Modem was not on the list that time warner cable had for (zip code 44035) , Time warner had no problem with activation , Arris SB6190 did work better then the one time warner cable gave me to rent . My magicJack did work a lot better with this Modem and my Networking is now a lot better !!

So, a friend of mine told me I should look into getting my own modem. Like most people I never thought anything of it. You pay your ISP for service they give you the equipment and around and around we go.... BUT... you'd be wise to take heed. I've been a customer with my ISP for about 10 years. For all this time I've been paying around $10-12 a month to "rent" their modem. After 10 years you do the math.... well over $1,000 I've paid them for something that costs under $100. That ended today. I went into Best Buy and grabbed this one after doing research. All I had to do was remove the ISPs modem plug this one in and call up the ISP. Tell them you'd like to provision a modem. They gave me no problems it was setup in less than 10mins and guess what I'm getting faster speeds than I was before. I connected my wireless router to it and wha la... everything was as it should be. Happy camper. Now I can return their modem to them and knock off this ridiculous charge I've been paying. Don't be a fool any longer just do it and stop paying them for something you should own by now.... it's just a money pit. Stop it. Next is the cable box...

Ive used this one before and mine finally died so i bought it again and it was so easy to set up and i get great connection

The Geek Squad recommended the Arris modem which replaced the one that I Spectrum, my Internet service, provided at a monthly charge. I've been using it for six weeks and so far no problems. It is smaller and has a lower profile on my desk.

Purchased this in 2018 and it’s still working exceptionally well! We decided to purchase our own router versus renting one from our internet provider because it made sense money wise and hasn’t given us any problems over the 3 years we’ve had it! Definitely happy with this purchase.

This works great! After xfinity upgraded my service area, I needed a device that would keep up with the new speeds. Very easy to use. Installation instructions were also straight forward.

First off,'if you have cable internet and lease your modem/router, return it immediately then buy this and a quality router. You will be impressed with the performance increase! I had a previous version of this modem and upgraded to this after a few years and was surprised at the performance increase, and I haven't even upgraded my router yet!

Great product. Easy plug and play setup. I use the cable modem with Xfinity.

Tried another modem to get out of my xfinity rental fee and it throttled my speeds by 2/3 of what I should have been getting. So far, I'm pulling over 100mbps from this modem. I've paired it with the Google Mesh System. Yay to no longer paying the rental fee from Comcast.

At first when Cox came by to set up my modem, the cable guy said that this modem might be TOO good for the internet but sure enough it worked and it paired BEAUTIFULLY with my Nighthawk X8. I got a great pull from my internet speed. I have 150mbps and received 193mbps. VERY HAPPY CUSTOMER!

I can’t believe that I paid COX 8 dollars a month to rent a cable modem when this one works so much better. And will pay for itself in less than a year.

Had Arris modern that I was renting/leasing from Comcast. Got tired of doing that and purchased this modern. Works great. Improves my speeds. Only downside was having to have Comcast set it up when the portal would recognize my account info. No fault of the product though.

Picked this modem up to replace my last modem. Last modem was a Motorola SB6180 (8 download and 4 upload channels). This new one I bought Arris SB6190 (32 download and 8 upload channels) is fast. I no longer have any video streaming problems, and webpages load faster.

An affordable modem that provides full use of my fast connection.

It was a bit hard to set up but it did increase the speed on my wifi

This modem works really well, throughout my entire home. No buffering or pausing.

Has been working well and have not had to restart system or noticed slow downs when my previous equipment required frequent restarts
