It was the best exchange I made with other arrius that didn’t have the router. This one have the WiFi and Router portable . It quick, efficient , lightning fast and installment is easy. I love it! Recommend hundred percent to anybody . That want to save money on equipment fee when getting internet service from Comcast or cable services

I went into Best Buy and told them my provider, and this modem was one of the few that was listed as compatible. It wasn't what I had intended to get going in and took a minute to set up. Overall I'm very satisfied. I've been using this for over a year and it's been pretty solid. I have basic cable internet used mostly for streaming video and some gaming and this has done the job just great.

Bought this 3.1 cable modem so that I could utilize the increased speeds provided by my Comcast/Xfinity service. It has worked perfectly. I subsequently had to also replace my router as it was not capable of throughputting the increased speed, but now I am getting almost 900Mbps on both wired and wireless connections. Not paying a monthly fee to my internet service provider (ISP) for a modem is a plus. I have always purchased and not rented my modems. Note that modem does not provide any wireless signal, so you'll need a separate router for that. You should also know that this modem does not handle phone service, so if you are getting your phone service through your ISP, this is not the type for you. For the typical modem/router setup, this is a good and fast modem.

Let's face it: Best Buy is the best place to buy cable modems so that you might save a ton of money over getting them anywhere else. This ARRIS cable modem performs better than any than I've ever used, taking full advantage of the highest speeds available through my carrier. It's easy to set up and its numbers and codes are easy to read and report to your carrier when connecting.

I purchased this modem as I had received 10 years out of my old modem and thought that having updated equipment with the latest docsis 3.1 support would be able to get me another 10 years before having to buy another modem. All I had to do was contact my cable company and give them the new MAC address of the modem and I was up and running in about 10 minutes.

Awesome 3.1 router.Wentahead and future proofed myself and got the 3.1 even though 3.0 is all that is needed for this area.But eventually you will need 3.1 so go ahead and get this one.Great modem and real easy to connect.I can tell you it works worth Comcast and WOW.Might want to catch it on sell as it wasn't when I purchased and had to grab my ankles.

Purchased this item to lower the cost of internet service by replacing the modem I had been renting monthly from my internet provider. I chose Arris because that was the brand they used. Installation was simple, and I just had to give them the IP address of the device, and they activated service

Easy to use, install. Works well with xfinity. Internet is definitely faster

I am moving from an all in one modem that would cut out all the time, to this beast! To be fair my network setup is about 3x as expensive now, but it was completely worth it. Using this modem, a pfsense router and intrusion detection system, and a unifi AP wifi unit, my network is more secure, more reliable, and actually much faster!

So far works good. Install went well but did take some time (10 -15 minutes). Do not expect it to be instant

I have had to restart the modem already a few times and it's only been installed a month or so, but when it's working it seems okay.

I was using an old 4x4 SB6121 for the last 6+ years. Chose it because of the price. Didn’t know what I was missing. This one is so worth the upgrade. Two kids streaming vids and both the wife and I working from home, we no long have lag issues. Yes, it is on the more expensive side, but with DOCSIS 3.1 you are good for years to come.

I guess it's doing what it's suppose to do. It's connected and my computer is working.

We have purchased the Surfboard modems three times before this. The last couple times we went with another brand only to have a confused setup experience. This for us was truly plug and play. All the dread we anticipated was for not. I highly recommend this product.

Our modem shot craps and they recommended getting our own Docsis3.1 since it would have been 2 weeks to ship a new one. Picked this one and it's been great. Faster. Reliable. No more rental fees. Just remember that you'll have to call in the MAC address to your ISP to get it active. Otherwise, it was plug-n-play. Recommended!

Purchased this modem to replace the cheap, $10/month rental provided by the cable provider and to support my upgrade to gigabit internet. So far it's been fast, consistent, and smooth. I connected Google WiFi for wireless access, and the two have been stellar in supporting my desktops, laptops, tablets, and 20+ Smart Home devices. Very pleased with this product.

Arris create a great product. Ive been using their modems since 2015. Ive only had one modem go out in that time. Their menu is extremely wasy to navigate and if you like the technical details, then you have a lot of information provided by the interface. I was able to self diagnose the modem failure when it happened. Which if anyone has dealt with comcast sometimes can be a drawn out proces just to get a technician there. I recommend this product over anything else.
