Simple set up with activation by our internet provider only the slowest point of the process. So far good upload and download speeds

worked well with my cox cable internet service and nighthawk router. In order to use with cox I had to call customer service and have them add it verses self activation. So much more reliable than my docs is 3.0

Excellent modem. Decent price. In stock at local store. Not too difficult to set up and get operational. Biggest problem was dealing with the local cable company!

Great product. I bought this because I needed to upgrade from an older model that I had for years. It works great and has a simple setup. If you need to trouble shoot it's all online, so that's not super convenient, but if you have a smartphone you're good.

Easy setup and works flawless so far. I purchased this unit on the advice of a internet tech to replace my 3.0 modem. I stream TV and this modem delivers the speed required for HD viewing.

I had to choose between this and Motorolla but ended up going with Arris due to compatibility with Optimum. Works great so far.

I switched from AT&T to advanced cable to get better speed. It was a much better deal to buy the cable modem then to pay $10 a month to rent it from the cable company. The cable modem is very good quality

Cut the cord recently, switched providers and bought all my own equipment, this is super small and it runs everything w' zero hiccups along w' a NGNH router. Very affordable and easy to set up with nearly any provider.

So far so good. We cut the cable cord after much consideration. We were paying $317 per month now down to $50 bucks internet only and 2 streaming services included. We watch all the same stuff on TV. This modem and a decent router and we’re good to go. Had a little problem with set up but quickly resolved.

Good modem, easy enough to set up with xfinity. Just attach the cable and call them up to add the device and you're pretty much set to go. Speed test showed me getting download speeds over what I am paying for so this will not be a bottleneck anytime soon. Have only reset it a handful of times over the course of the last 10 or so months.

Performing as advertised. Would buy again at Best Buy

Not sure where to start, but this modem is amazing! I’ve had it for 3-4 years now after swapping out the horrible spectrum modem, and I’m getting excellent upload/download speeds. No problems using this modem and an updated spectrum router at all. Also, it’s so much better gaming with my son online via Ethernet connection. I’ve already told many friends of mine to switch to this modem.

I updated our modem with the newest Arris model. Performance is great. Better connectivity than my older model too.

Upgraded parents internet and needed a capable DOCSIS 3.1 modem. There are others available, but the Arris Surfboard series provides the most bang for your buck. Quick and easy install.

This is the first cable modem I have ever purchased and it was easy to set up. Its also much faster than the modems mediacom rents to people.

Tom the tech was awesome. He found the problem with our old modem and suggested the Arris and everything works great.
