A good reliable cable modem. The last one I had of this brand lasted a decade. This one works just as good as that so far. No lemon here

I already had a wireless router. This was to replace a netgear cable model/router that was starting to degrade. Set up was easy. So far it's worked well for us. Before swapping it out, our streams used to pause a lot. After the change we have not had any issues.

This modem works great. I used it with Comcast and it was easy to have Comcast connect it. I would definitely recommend to use. I have 5 smart tvs, 4 tablet devices, 4 laptops, 10 cameras, and a ton of other things and it's able to handle everything

A great modem to handle fast Internet speeds. An excellent choice is you're looking to do a little bit of everything.

We were renting the "required" modem from our internet provider for $14.99 or something a month and paying for 100Mbps service. We would rarely get above the mid 40'sMbps. This modem was recommended and really after ten months of not paying to rent a 1970's era modem from our internet provider this one will be free so why not? We had to call them and provide the modem info for them to connect it, and instantly we were getting the 100Mbps that we were paying for. This has been rock solid and absolutely doubled our internet speed with the bonus of being free after ten months and then saving us money each and every month after.... I have recommended this Modem twice now and will continue to recommend it unless it dies an untimely death. Some people say it runs hot and ours does not, though we are running this thing at its lowest speed so not much load on it or going through it.

This modem is super fast. Our Internet speeds were in the 55-60 mbps range before adding this modem. It is now between 390-400 on a consistent basis. It was very easy to set-up, as well.

i have always liked the SurfBoard series of cable modems, going back decades. they basically give me no trouble, and they last forever.

After Comcast claimed to have upgraded my speed to 175Mbps and I was still getting the same old 140 or less I decided to try the modem that Comcast had been recommending for the past year. The new modem did not install as automatically as it was supposed to do. But after some time with Xfinity technical assistance we got it working. Speed tests now show a consistent download rate of near 200Mbps. Very happy with that. Oh, the heat problem you see so many comments about - not at all noticed. In fact the SB8200 runs cooler than the old SB6121. Very happy with the machine after almost one month of service.

Great item for a great prize. The setup was a breeze, didn't have any issues activating the modem with my local ISP century link.

No problems internet is functioning as needed. We do not game only streaming media and entertainment.

Easy setup. Just plug and play. The hardest part was waiting in queue with my ISP so I could get the modem's MAC address registered. My previous modem was the older version and it lasted me several years. Blazing fast speeds. I'm already thinking about stepping up my Internet speed to take advantage of the modem.

Good overall modem. upgraded from the sb6900. This one is docsis 3.1 while the other was 3.0. Supports faster speed. Pretty happy with it.

Way easy set up and simple instructions. So far, works like a champ. I'm not a very technical person so if I can do it, someone else (almost anyone else) should be as well.

This was purchased when we upgraded to gigabit internet speeds. It’s worked flawlessly so far. Simple set up - plug it in. I’ve been getting around 955Mbps consistently for all my speed tests when I run them.

I’ve been using this for a few weeks now, upgraded my internet speed and need a new modem. It seems to be working great, no problems. Easy to hook up and has capacity for even higher speed rates down the line. We like that it is separate, because my other equipment didn’t need upgrading.

I bought this product and ended up returning it so I never actually used it. I have spectrum for Internet. I bought the euro pro 6E mesh Wi-Fi system when I called spectrum to get everything set up they said that this specific modem can have quick speed, but we had to lower our upload speed in order to use that specific modem so I ended up returning it. I heard great things about it. I wish the price on this specific modem was a lot cheaper, but in today’s world, everything is 100 more dollars than what it really should be.

Great cable modem, easy to setup and configure. Works for all of our Internet needs with our mesh Wi-Fi.

Docsis 3.1 is needed if anyone is running a Gig or more for their internet service. I just hooked it up, and it runs well so far. I've used the Arris brand for my other modems, and no issues. Everything is good so far, will update if problems occur.
